The second video could have nothing to do with the first – so saying the second one debunks the first is wrong. So, the whole debunking of the first video rests on the tops of 2 trees. I’m sure it’s a fake but this debunking is weak.
Ok people. Check me out here. GO watch the other video again. It appears these guys changed the tops of one of the trees in the first video to create a match. If I could post a pic here I could show you a grab I just did where they are clearly different. No?
The music is from a fondly remembered (by me, at least) little film called “Bugsy Malone”. It starred Scott Baio, Jodie Foster and the fat kid from the Barney Miller spinoff “Fish” as kid gangsters.
Why would anyone bother to “debunk” something that was meant for fun and was obviously satire to begin with? Anyone who would bother debunking a “UFO sighting” has as much spare time on his hands as the comedian that made the youtube video.
If you have about 45 minutes of your life to give away, here’s a pretty good documentary on the subject. I really have no idea how factual any of this is, but at first glance, it appears credible, with many credible sources. I’d be interested in another take on it as I’m still incredibly skeptical of the actual existence of UFO’s.
But why not have some fun? Having seen Tiger take home another PGA win in the awful heat at Southern Hills today in Tulsa has probably made me delirious.
The entire argument rests on the description (often screwed up as dozens of people load the same video having no idea or not caring what the facts are once it hits YouTube – in addition, who knows what the relation is between the person who shot the video and who posted it?), and the trees (they appear to have been edited for THIS video – if so, All Hands Down).
In addition, people often change names & places “to protect the innocent,” as well as because they just don’t care.
The “chronological order” thing is complete bullcrap, I don’t recall the original videos claiming they were in chronological order.
Also, the “debunker” converted the already-compressed YouTube videos to use their editing program, introducting even more “artifacts” into the picture.
Yeah, the original videos are probably CGI. But this “effort” at debunking is so bad, it will probably INCREASE the credibility of the videos with the GP.
This is nothing more than the Men in Black trying to cover it up!
Oh, and this explains how a politician can be a conservative during the election and then go liberal while in office. It’s a conspiracy by the aliens. They wait for them to get elected and then SWITCH.
The problem is, they coppied McCain too well and they can’t tell which is the copy, so they keep switching him back and forth.

Yeah, I have to agree here. It proves for a fact that the trees were fake, which makes it highly probable that the second video is a fake but doesn’t say anything about the first one and never even addresses the UFOs.
Don’t you remember the Coptix gag? They didn’t have to change the pic above the entrance door into those…weird creatures, I never watched the show. They did it because they could, just to prove that Twofers are easily fooled. And that’s the tooth.
Kids in kollege have A/V equipment as powerful as Light & Magic studios. They can create & animate & radiosity anything they want to. The cloning of the treetops was a “just so you know” waterstamp.
AP, if Jesus or an iPhone were aliens, would you believe?
There are billions of stars in our galaxy and there are billions upon billions of galaxies. So the odds are very good that there is another planet somewhere with life. However the distances are so great it is beyond conception.
To hold on to a belief in extraterrestrial visitors is pure folly. It is akin to pondering time travel.
You see, it is like this, there is no past and no future. There is only a constant now. The conception of time is a construct of the mind.
Oh brother. Twenty bucks says he debunks the Transformers movie next. What a weinie.
And could that music have been any more pompous and annoying? I had it stuck in my head for about half an hour, until the Chili’s Baby Back Ribs jingle came on and obliterated it. Thank god.

They aren’t the same trees. AP do a screen grab. You’ll see.
I’m sure they aren’t real but this “analysis” does not prove they are fake.
The purpose of the second video could be to discredit the first or is just a sloppy copycat.

Loved that movie as a kid. Wonder if it holds up.

Trees, shmees. I want to know what they used to make the UFO’s. I mean, this wasn’t an Unidentified Flying TREE video, was it???
Debunk the saucers, not the foliage…

The real question is, how did the aliens move the tree?
a4g on August 12, 2007 at 10:46 PM
They had Louis Farrakhan do it.

Truthers need a plausible explanation established before they can get revved up to deny it. Call it deniable plausibility.
