This has special resonance for anyone who’s read Stephen King’s Insomnia, in which the protagonist’s neighbor is going looney, and constantly ranting about the “little bald doctors.”

I find it kind of endearing myself. Little green doctors. I like it.

Slightly OT, but neat. During the '04 election I was playing with an election campaign donation database, searching for famous folks, and I discovered that someone named Albert Kaline in West Bloomfield, Michigan had made significant donations to the Bunning For Senate organization. Bunning and Kaline once worked for the same company. I wondered what the odds were that one baseball Hall of Fame member would be contributing to the political campaign of another HOF member.

You know, being from KY, I had a difficult time the last time Senator Bunning was up for reelection. I had my doubts, mind you. Ultimately, the fear of having another seat end up in Dhimmicrap hands helped me to cast my vote for Bunning. But the great news is that he has been on the correct side of all of the important issues. When Mitch was appearing to waver on illegal immigration, Bunning stayed strong. Of course, this may have more to do with the people in his office than with his coherent grasp of the facts and issues. But whatever it is — I like it. I’m glad we have him (and his aides) in Washington.

I particularly enjoyed see how the head crank reflexively deleted the post when he was the words “Little Green”…
