Yawn: Kos smears Bunning over “little green doctors” comment

Bunning’s long been rumored to be either senile or well on his way there so naturally the nutroots, led by the head nutroot himself, are having fun with this clip.
“I couldn’t find any references to his ‘little green doctors,’” writes Kos, presumably googling moronically for the term “little green doctors.” Try googling for Bunning and Fancy Farm and you’ll eventually find this, from October 2004:
Drawing particular attention to Bunning’s mental state were charges he made last week that his wife, Mary, was roughed up by members of Mongiardo’s campaign staff during the Fancy Farm political picnic.
On Tuesday Bunning said she was bruised “by people in little green jump suits.”
Mongiardo supporters were wearing imitation ER scrubs at the event.
Still pretty “colorful,” though. Exit question: Shouldn’t Bunning at least be held to the standard of steel-trap coherence displayed by elder Klansstatesman Robert Byrd?

I particularly enjoyed see how the head crank reflexively deleted the post when he was the words “Little Green”…

It’s crystal clear to me what happened. Those weren’t doctors, they were watermelons.

Maybe the green men exist and kos is Nutz, then again, maybe they do not exist and kos is Nutz.

what with the little green doctors, the monkey on his back and the gremlin on the wing of his plane, this man seems more suited to congress than many.

Oh now, let’s not throw stones. It’s not like you guys were sensitive to Greenwalds multiple personality disorder.

Isn’t green a term for new, just starting, not yet seasoned?

P.S. Yes, rhetorical.

Not true. I was very sensitive to the likable personalities.

You know, being from KY, I had a difficult time the last time Senator Bunning was up for reelection. I had my doubts, mind you. Ultimately, the fear of having another seat end up in Dhimmicrap hands helped me to cast my vote for Bunning. But the great news is that he has been on the correct side of all of the important issues. When Mitch was appearing to waver on illegal immigration, Bunning stayed strong. Of course, this may have more to do with the people in his office than with his coherent grasp of the facts and issues. But whatever it is — I like it. I’m glad we have him (and his aides) in Washington.

The rest of the world laughs at Kos. And they take themselves serioulsy. Looks like little green doctors should take some of them away for a vacation.

Or pull them off vacation, because this must be looked into more thoroughly. /-s

Every party is entitled to their own Byrd.

Slightly OT, but neat.
During the ‘04 election I was playing with an election campaign donation database, searching for famous folks, and I discovered that someone named Albert Kaline in West Bloomfield, Michigan had made significant donations to the Bunning For Senate organization. Bunning and Kaline once worked for the same company. I wondered what the odds were that one baseball Hall of Fame member would be contributing to the political campaign of another HOF member.

This has special resonance for anyone who’s read Stephen King’s Insomnia, in which the protagonist’s neighbor is going looney, and constantly ranting about the “little bald doctors.”
I find it kind of endearing myself. Little green doctors. I like it.
