There is a problem with the track and you can see the ship on the left move slightly weird (tilts clockwise) at the beginning of the original zoom out at the two second mark…also at :09 This biggest problem with adding an effect to a moving camera is parallax. However this shaky camera move mainly point at the sky and rotates about the persons head. This makes it a lot easier to track. As a matter a fact the tracking algorithm could even be a spherical 2D tracking algorithm which is a lot easier and faster to do than a 3D track. Also there is zoom on this but this could be added later which would be easier that actually having to deal with a focal length that changes. Next after you track it then you can add what ever you want to the scene and it will look like it’s a part of the scene. You would simulate lighting and you could use the blue of the sky to “key” out the trees so the flying pigs appear to move behind them them. You can also add fake focus blurs to hide any mistakes. Which means “news coverage” reliability will depend on the credibility of those doing the reporting rather than what you actually see.

In other words, “the news” will go from “almost completely useless” to “completely useless.”

I am very seriously worried about how people will be able to make serious decisions in a world where you just plain can’t trust information about events they didn’t see with their own eyes.
