Update: The boss was on fire tonight. Here’s the highlight reel — the Memo, some of the Newark case segment, some of the Wall St segment and some of the Pearl Jam segment.

William Amos on August 10, 2007 at 7:44 PM
Is Murtha latin for flatulence?
OhEssYouCowboys on August 10, 2007 at 7:45 PM
The Newark case “is” about immigration. CNN says
faraway on August 10, 2007 at 7:50 PM
No, Murtha is Latin for stooopid voters.

No question about that too… we can add witty too.
Zorro on August 10, 2007 at 8:31 PM
Notice how MM does not have to show the leg to be on air?
Dersu on August 10, 2007 at 8:33 PM
You could put a cardboard cut-out of Michelle in front of Bill O’ and the ratings would go up!
On-my-soap-box on August 10, 2007 at 8:38 PM
You got one of those?
Dersu on August 10, 2007 at 8:42 PM
You don’t?

The only deragatory thing I can say about Michelle is:
She’s not on TV enough.
Kowboy on August 10, 2007 at 8:46 PM
Pearl Jam is so last decade.
Kowboy on August 10, 2007 at 8:49 PM
Pearl Who?

I second the motion. We need something to counteract all those [bleep] Che T-shirts.

I suggest a bust of Michelle and under it
Mi-Che-lle, A real Hero!
You heard it here first!
On-my-soap-box on August 10, 2007 at 8:57 PM
The open border fools always seem to forget the 30% prison rates filled by illegals. Criminals? All of them to begin with.
Michelle did let Hernandez get away with the “well they’re paying into social security and we will all benefit from that” bullshoot.
We, real Americans, US citizens, lose on that deal. Illegals cost us an average of $19,000 per illegal per year. No kidding.
They come here, We lose.
MM is getting very comfortable on OReilly now.
Very relaxed, good flow… great job Michelle.

I already cannot wait until next Friday.

Kowboy on August 10, 2007 at 9:01 PM
Let me fix that for ya!
On-my-soap-box on August 10, 2007 at 9:03 PM
Good one, on-my-soap-box. Yes, there is a “che” in “Michelle”. Thankfully, the similarity ends there. I bow in your general direction.
Bigfoot on August 10, 2007 at 9:03 PM
Off you knees nave, I want royalties not royalty! LOL
On-my-soap-box on August 10, 2007 at 9:05 PM
I think Michelle should host the show every Monday and Friday. It is one of life’s little joys listening to her present the issues of our day as only she can.
FLASH: Colmes mentions my comment that the Khalil Gibran school in Brooklyn was named after a Christian! He must be a closet Hot Air head.
Where was I… oh yes, the enthusiasm and passion for the topics is unmistakable. Most others, even on Fox, seen to just read the teleprompter. More evidence of professional preparation.

Old news, but Michelle = teh hawt.
Good Lt on August 10, 2007 at 9:50 PM
I missed the first 2 segments, but I don’t gather that the she covered the huge blow dealt to global warming last night? I understand, it’s Bill’s show so she may not have had a choice… but I’m soooooo pissed that I have yet to hear this from the MSM, including Fox… did anyone hear it anywhere?
I maintain that this is one of the HUGEST stories of our generation, when you factor in the implications to trillions being spent, freedoms taken away, implementation of global laws, countless dollars spent for every scientist who can link his study on anything to global warming, folks trying to being a New World Order (again the PM Gordon Brown said that’s exactly what he wants to do) to combat global warming, etc. etc.
Given that 1998 is no longer the “hottest year on record”, you’d think mention of this would be an easy starting point for news searches to find stories on this…
Well a Yahoo news search of ‘global warming 1998′ returns mostly alarmist stories on the out of control warming we’re supposed to see start in 2009 (I’m sure you heard about that BS somewhere already)… the only
articlepost about this new revelation is from Slashdot… here’s the searchhttp://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news;_ylt=A0geu5vtE71GROcAo_NXNyoA?ei=UTF-8&p=global%20warming%201998&fr2=tab-web&fr=moz2
and even if you go to the Slashdot post, it’s clearly from a global warmist point of view, and even more dishonest than you’d believe, considering they talk about the “article’s assertion”, when it’s not the articles assertion, f-ing NASA has changed the numbers!!! It’s not an assertion, it’s a demonstrable bust!
Okay Slashdot, whine about whether you buy there being an agenda or not… the primary issue (in this particular case) is that the data used was FALSE, and all those “these havee been the hottest years on record” comments we’ve been hearing ARE BULLS**T… get it? And again, NASA fessed up, it ain’t an assertion buddy.
A Google News search terms up much the same, but because they include a lot more blogs in their results, you get a handful of them… but again, that’s not MSM… so a very small segment of the population has heard about this.
Anyway, I’m not bashing Michelle for not covering this, again I know it’s not her show to decide on what to cover, I’m just venting because I’m furious about the lack of coverage of this major story, and I had at least hoped it might be brought up on H&C and it’s not on there either!!!
Gutfeld, you’re my only hope!
RightWinged on August 10, 2007 at 9:53 PM
Talking points Memo is a classic, a keeper for sure.
Great job tonight MM, congrats
Dersu on August 10, 2007 at 10:13 PM
It was on Fox today, during the 3pm pst show I think.
xplodeit on August 10, 2007 at 10:19 PM
What good does it do to spend so much time/money to deport criminal illegals with open US borders? They just come back anyway. The whole discussion is pointless and frustrating.
Also, my liberal (gag) friends just say that legal citizens commit crimes also. We are not going to get anywhere with hitting them in the head with this message. So I’m not sure what method will work to change people’s minds about the whole issue.
nottakingsides on August 10, 2007 at 10:24 PM
RW, I’d be amazed if Gut doesn’t cover the Global Warming goof at some point. That seems to have become his pet issue, Michelle’s first two segments were immigration, which is reasonable, that’s her big issue.
Also keep in mind BOR is militant about Big Oil and seems to be big on environment and Global Warming, and Michelle has limits on how far she can push the show into her editorial viewpoint, remember, it is ultimately BORs show.
Bad Candy on August 10, 2007 at 10:25 PM
Michelle’s sarcastic “bravo” during the immigration segment … priceless!!
thirteen28 on August 10, 2007 at 10:27 PM
Michelle’s on so much anymore that I’m expecting a name change to “The Malkin Factor” any day now. Frankly, I’d welcome the change.
Too, Michelle has the finest head of hair I’ve ever seen on a woman. If she ever cuts it all off, I’m going to cry.
jaleach on August 10, 2007 at 11:10 PM
No way, Studio B with Shep “The Science is In” Smith!? I can’t believe it… you sure it wasn’t with Gibson or Skinner? Or was it Shep with some global warmist guest attempting to downplay the undownplayable?
I agree, Gutfeld will most likely cover it (unless they break in with Utah mine stuff again, and we miss half the show), but he’s so far from being MSM and the show format doesn’t really give the opportunity to really bring the hammer down on this thing.
And I agree, as I said, I understand it’s not totally up to Malkin what she’s able to cover… I’m just pissed I haven’t heard about it anywhere yet (and as I said, no news search returns any mention outside of a few blogs)
As for O’Reilly on global warming, he’s a dumbass. Granted, he’s not way out there with the global warmists, but he doesn’t understand the threat that this hoax poses, and he always boils down the few (very few) segments he has on the issue by saying stupid things like (this is a quote, pulled from a partial transcript on his own site, and I’ve heard him say exactly this, numerous times)
Well Billy boy, we know it’s getting SLIGHTLY warmer… but not as warm as the 30s apparently! And what else can it do after cooling for a few decades in the middle of the last century! And “goop”!? How about we look at the science and recognize that this entire global warming thing is agenda driven, has no scientific backing, and the mass belief in it is the true threat.
RightWinged on August 10, 2007 at 11:20 PM
Laura Schwartz looks like a cartoon shark with that “smile.”
TheBigOldDog on August 10, 2007 at 11:24 PM
In other news… Flash Gordon sucked. Darn it.
Doctor Zero on August 10, 2007 at 11:29 PM
MM looked very good tonight. She’s getting better each time.
csdeven on August 11, 2007 at 12:14 AM
I’ve made my decision. I do not want MM to have her own talk show. I want her to run for president!
I think she would even be better than Fred! (and I’m a Fred! supporter).
Come on, Michelle! You can do it!
rmgraha on August 11, 2007 at 12:20 AM
It was on during the Britt Hume show(6:00est or 3:00pst) I think. It was not on during Shep, it was on before his second show.
xplodeit on August 11, 2007 at 12:26 AM
That would be as bad as the Felicity Fiasco.
- The Cat
MirCat on August 11, 2007 at 1:06 AM
Oh, so you’re on the west coast I take it (because you said 3 earlier)? Hmm… glad Hume mentioned it, but it was likely just a blurb during “The Political Grapevine” eh?
RightWinged on August 11, 2007 at 1:59 AM
Dang, I missed it. I usually record the whole show when Michelle hosts and I know it far enough in advance…. Is there any way to get more than the HotAir clips when I’m too late (including for the Fox evening rerun)??
Yeah, but I’d be willing to pay extra for that as an added bonus.
Ah, I’ll bet Michelle would be hot with short hair too.
Just; God, Please, not bald and with tattoos ;-)
LegendHasIt on August 11, 2007 at 2:59 AM
FWIW, announced on H&C: Hannity’s America will air a segment about it on Sunday. Guess it just wasn’t Rich Lowry’s story to “break”; looks like Hannity will do it himself, even if it means weekend billing.
RD on August 11, 2007 at 3:16 AM
Michelle is spectacular! I hope she gets more and more air time
Michelle’s points are so to the point, so relevant, and she is right on in her assessments that it seems almost inevitable that she will get more time on the air. I hope so anyway ….
Her hair looked great too …..
omegaram on August 11, 2007 at 3:55 AM
I’m not a huge fan of that program, but any little bit helps, especially considering the
virtualCOMPLETE media blackout.RightWinged on August 11, 2007 at 4:03 AM
I really like it when Michelle subs for O’Reilly. She does an exemplary job. One small issue here, though. She *is* a beautiful woman, but this time her make-up did not do her justice. I’m not a make-up artist, so I can’t articulate what I didn’t like about it. It just seemed “off” a bit.
georgej on August 11, 2007 at 5:24 AM
Thanks for putting up the “talking points” Bryan, I missed the first part of the show. Please don’t pull my racist bigot membership card MM
conservnut on August 11, 2007 at 8:12 AM
I thought maybe too much light make-up around the eyes.
Wade on August 11, 2007 at 8:55 AM
I think they’re trying to tone down the sexiness just a bit. This is supposed to be, after all, a serious and classy TV program.
Lawrence on August 11, 2007 at 3:25 PM
Then what’s O’Reilly doing on there?
Michelle Malkin is a stupendously gorgeous woman. She just is. Toning it down isn’t in the cards. She’d either have to wear a burka or a paper bag over her head to hide the good looks.
jaleach on August 11, 2007 at 4:25 PM
True!
Lawrence on August 12, 2007 at 1:16 PM
I think they should have spots during the day called Malkins’ Minute
Where she can do her points when she is not subbing for O’Reilly
EricPWJohnson on August 13, 2007 at 12:40 AM
UPDATE:
He didn’t talk about this, again he just whined about “alarmism”, rather than the science that is debunking MMGW all together. Again, he usually just complains about hypocrisy and alarmism, which is all fine and good, but it doesn’t go far enough to ending all this sh**.
RightWinged on August 13, 2007 at 1:27 AM
And to clarify RD (and anyone else) what I mean is he didn’t mention AT ALL the revising of the “hottest year” numbers.
It really doesn’t matter, because there is a COMPLETE mainstream media blackout, but does anyone know if he even mentioned it on his radio show? Did Rush? Did anyone?
RightWinged on August 13, 2007 at 1:45 AM
I really enjoyed the show…as usual.
I look forward to her having her own show one day.
Sometimes I wish fox in general on all it’s programs had a MUTE button for some guests that insist on not allowing the host to talk or the host to have another guest talk. It’s truly annoying all the yelling over. Less of it happens on the oreilly show though than some of the other fox shows.
