Wow. I admit I’m a Canadian conservative and not a Republican, but I’ve been at many a political gathering with candidates, volunteers, staffers, and never do I recall one of those words, or its Canadian racist terms (we have a few) uttered.

I find much of what Rev. Jesse Jackson does and says to be hypocritical and inflammatory. But can we please stop update his list of transgressions. The Hymie Town remark was made in 1984. It was stupid then as it is now.

But I would need SONAR, GPS and a Fruit Loops decoder ring to find a gathering of Republicans wherein the majority of them have not uttered some racist slur or remark in the past 23 years. In fact, I would say that Jesse Jackson is a much slicker in veiling his true feelings than most of us.

Think back 23 years: Ask yourself, has anyone in your family, your peer group, your church or job used nigger, spic, nip, kike, sand nigger, cracker, chink or wetback in your presence? Do you still give them such grief?

Am I supposed to believe that none of our favorite people have done so? PUH-LEASE!

Let’s update our list of grievances so as to reflect our own standards. Jesse is a whiner and blowhard. But I doubt he is any more racist or exclusive in his actions than many here, their families or friends.

RE: Bigot Brother
This show deals in racism for profit. Other than sex, race is the one hot button gauranteed to garner at least a passing glance from all of us media rubbernecks.

Remember the Bollywood actress last year in UK Big Brother. I think Australian Big Brother has had its share of race baiting. Hell, Survivor segragated its entire cast as a promotional event.

Something that is noteworthy, however is that anti-Semitism still gets a big yawn from lots of Americans. In fact, aside from Republicans, I think Jews are the most misrepresented group of Americans today. Christians come in a close second.

Quite honestly, I just never got the jokes. I’ve lived several Jewish people and went to a University where Judaism rivaled Christianity as the main religion. If I were going to stereotype Jews, I would take every negative image put forth, then reverse it.

I’m Jewish and I could not care less what others think of me or Jews, in general. My sense of self-worth is not based on other people’s opinions – especially not others with IQ’s sub 85. I mean, really.

Anyone who is offended by this is a needy, pathetic, hyper-sensitive individual – worse, even, than the general audience of this “show”.

Not one show from NBC, CBS, ABC has been seen in my house by anyone this century. No kidding, not one. I refuse to watch them anymore and since I can get sports and MNF elsewhere… I just don’t tune in to CBS/dba DBS DemBroadcastingSystem or its siblings.

Go to CBS and you can watch last nights show online. The POV comp was awesome. Some real sacrifices were made.

During the 1930′s the Jews of Germany and such thought of themselves as German or whatever place they happened to be citizens of. Weren’t they surprised when the Nazis informed them that no matter what their citizenship was they were still racially Jewish. Nothing could change that – atheism, baptism, etc. They were still killed because they were RACIALLY Jewish based on the rather bizarre thinking of the Nazis. Thus the Holocaust was born out of racial thinking, not religious thinking.

And please don’t be calling people Nazis or terrorists unless they give you the stiff arm.

If you’ve seen this show, you’ll already know that this “person” is a walking basket case who breaks out in tears at the drop-of-a-hat. She’s an emotional wreck. This aspect of her personality is hardly a surprise.

I confess – thanks to my ladylove and her atrocious taste in television, I’ve seen most of this show. I’ve also had the joy of watching every episode of “The Bachelor.” Can you feel my pain? (But I missed it last night! Who won POV? Will they take Jen off the block? Is Kail going home this week? Oh, sweet Lord, kill me now, someone kill me now.)

What can I say? I’m in love. It makes you do stupid things. Then again, she’ll sit with me and watch O’Reilly and Hannity & Colmes … and I’m not sure they’re really that much less stupid than “Big Brother.”

But since I’ve seen this debacle of a show, I can confirm Malpaso’s comment: “Amber” here is a human train wreck. She cries – no joke – at least half a dozen times every episode. In fact, her weeping jags are about the best entertainment on the show.

Here’s an interesting tidbit about this anti-Semitic piece of human garbage that CBS isn’t publicizing: while she may claim to be a weepy model of Christian virtue, she’s admitted not only to having TWO abortions, but the child (children) she claims to have mothered constantly … are(is) not in her custody (apparently she lost custody because she’s junkie) … and best of all, she apparently lied to her boyfriend about having two MORE abortions. Kids gone to drugs, two abortions, and two fake(?) abortions.

But it’s the joooooooooos who are the bad people, huh?

Yeah, she’s really a peach. And yes, the fact that I know this is embarrassing. Deeply. Then again, can also name the final four in “20 vs. 40: Age of Love.” So my embarrassment can go deeper.

When do we get to see an Ahkmed set up on national television, and will we see him pray 5 times a day facing Mecca on a prayer rug? If he does will it be an insult to Islam, and what if he doesn’t? I always hear about how Islam is the religion of peace, but apparently it isn’t peaceful enough for CBS to put one on.

In season 6 & 7 they had a contestant named Kayser (SP?) who talked about his faith on one show but CBS never once made fun of him in any way. He was actually the “golden” boy but he got WORKED in both seasons.

I do find the constant references to God’s will by the various contestants be a little annoying but for CBS mock Jameka when she was clearly distressed and needing some spiritual guidance to be rude and insensitive.

Jameka’s problem is she forgets this is a game with STRANGERS! You owe them nothing. She had the chance to snake 5k and 10k in cash during two events and passed so she could help someone else. Stupid move. She’s done next 2-3 weeks since she gave up HOH competitions to try and win POV. DUMB DUMB DUMB. She could 15k richer at the minimum.

Are you a fvckin’ joke? Tell me you are not serious…because you sound just like this Amber b!tch. The vast majority of elected official in this country are Christians. They are preferred by the electorate. Is the U.S. fascist? Do you know what percentage of the Knesset is Jewish? Hint: its not 100%. Ask youself, what percentage of Israel’s population is Jewish? Then think about the logic conclusion. Geez….

I Think people by nature are cliquish and prefer or are more comfortable with their own ilk. I don’t think this is a crime or even bad. It just is what it is. That is why Kos people blog at kos and sane people blog here.
Why would people from all over the world want to form a nation in that part of the world? I am sure they had their reasons both Historical and biblical. Maybe for the same reason.

A Black friend of mine recently commented that she’s heard people in her office on multiple occasions use the term, “colored” to describe Black people. I don’t think I’ve heard that term since “All in the Family.”
