Chicago Tribune: Minnesota bridge collapses, Somali Muslims hardest hit

They work in the standard “if not for pork Iraq, we could have fixed it in time” angle too, but the following bit is original and straight-up money. Caveat to Andy Warhol’s adage: in the future, every Muslim community located within 50 miles of a disaster will have its 15 minutes of leftist media fame.
The collapse too adds to uneasy feelings among Somalis who say they have felt a federal backlash since Sept. 11, 2001 not only because of their Muslim faith but also because Somalia has been accused of harboring terrorists associated with Osama bin Laden. The bridge collapse has added jitters for Somalis who in recent years regrouped and rallied around one another.
“This all adds up to be very painful,” said Omar Jamal, a Somali who directs the Somali Justice Advocacy Center that fights for Somali rights.

I envisage the newspaper having a huge sidebar with every single trendy social group profiled. “Brown People - Mildly uneasy”, “Self-Lovers - Not uneasy”, “Furry Enthusiasts - Unconcerned”, “Koreans - Uneasy”. “Illegal Immigrants (recent) - Uneasy”. And so on.

Well, clearly this was engineered - bridges don’t just collapse on their own. I know this to be true because I have just placed a brick onto a small Lego model of a bridge, and it didn’t collapse, not even when I blew on it. I’ll post the pictures sometime; they conclusively prove that a huge metal bridge cannot possibly collapse unless Karl Rove orders it so.

That’s why he chose to blow up this bridge. According to the article, “Somalis…live near the bridge…”. So as retaliation against the Somali cab drivers and Target clerks, Bush wanted to make sure that the Somalis in particular - and Muslims in general - knew “I can get you……anywhere!”

Sigh, I have spent 9 days not sleeping and now I KNOW why it fell the way it did. There were explosive planted in the bridge. I mean come on there was no fire at all to melt the steel. (not that it could) What was Bush reading to the kiddies when he was informed? And Ill bet we will declare war on Minnesota. Oh and Im sure that he owns stock in the contruction companies that will rebuild it, or is that Cheney? I cant keep these evil types straight without a scorecard… oh wait that is what the R is for next to their names on TV and in those truth filled news articles.

My theory is that BushHitler blew up this particular bridge in a nefarious plot to undermine my VIKINGS who will win the Superbowl this year. BushHitler being a Cowboy fan and all. Not quite sure how this plot was to stop the big Purple but then, as everyone knows, Chimpy is not the smartest guy around. The Somalis being close was just frosting on the cake and besides, they probably don’t watch the VIKINGS, preferring camel racing or some such!:)

The only reason I could think of the Somalis being any more jittered than anyone else is the fear that some moron terrorists blew up the bridge, perhaps causing a backlash on their Muslim community.

I am totally confused. I thought that it was Bush’s fault for the bridge collapse due to global warming. Now I’m being told that it is Bush’s fault because he is targeting the ROP. Since we now know that every negative event is caused by Bush (thanks to the MSM), there is really no need to specifically state this anymore. However, the MSM needs to let the people know definitively why Bush is to blame and stop confusing people. By the way, I hit a deer on the way to work yesterday and I was wondering if I needed to search for a Rove implanted device in the deer’s brain that caused it to jump in the road for me to hit it.

This particular Tribune “journalist’s” education should be checked on. Any school he/she attended should be closed/boarded. Any teacher found to be guilty of issuing such ignorant fool a passing grade should be promoted to the janitorial staff.
