A little Tuesday stupid for you while we get up to speed. The Onion’s video stuff has been quality so far — consistently pretty funny, professionally produced, and delivered regularly every 72 hours or so. I’m looking forward to seeing how they handle a longer format. Steven Seagal’s role bodes well, I think.
As for this, we’ve all been there.

Well, that was just dumb.

I KNEW there was something wrong with my Burger King Cheeseburger yesterday – no human head.
Don’t you know? It’s full of head-y goodness. (yes, I stole that from the glory years of “The Simpsons)

Know how it’s fake?
There’s a Sleestak in the background!
What would happenn if you sent this to Wonkette?
HockeyTemper on August 7, 2007 at 9:06 AM
What?? No “Area man” in the cast of characters for the full-length Onion movie?
flipflop on August 7, 2007 at 9:08 AM
The NASCAR one is still my favorite by far…
rosewaning on August 7, 2007 at 9:08 AM
Yeah, I get it all the time.
TheSitRep on August 7, 2007 at 9:11 AM
You want Tuesday stupid? Link to YouTube hosting the original Laser Cats from SNL.
As long as we have cats that shoot lasers out of their mouths we’ll be alright!
HockeyTemper on August 7, 2007 at 9:12 AM
Yes, I am a Deddie Downer, but don’t they open themselves up to litigation unless BK approved the use of their name? Yes, Flash Gordon gives it awy, I know, but liberals watch this too!
Pam on August 7, 2007 at 9:15 AM
Probably the only head that guy will ever get.
right2bright on August 7, 2007 at 9:17 AM
Yeah…the guy wasn’t going to take legal action!
Well, ya can’t say burgers aren’t “brain food” anymore…
JetBoy on August 7, 2007 at 9:19 AM
Ah Allahpundit that story is way too outrageous to believe. It was probably produced by the same people who told us that the Rose Law Firm billing records were innocently resting in Hillary’s book room.

I blame Bush.
saint kansas on August 7, 2007 at 9:23 AM
Love how they’re still using Queen’s Flash Gordon theme.
otcconan on August 7, 2007 at 9:24 AM
Now that would be a Happy Meal.
Have it your way!

That was more fun than that stupid grinning king thing. They keep running it, so marketing must think it’s working. I don’t get it. Does Enzyte Bob really sell alot of Johnson pills? I’ll remain clueless.

Stupid.
Jaibones on August 7, 2007 at 9:43 AM
Hrm… I was desperately trying to find something to laugh at and ended up laughing at the horse head statement. In retrospect, it wasn’t even that funny by itself, but taken with the rest of the video, it became funnier than it actually was.
JinxMcHue on August 7, 2007 at 9:56 AM
dude. flash gordon? is there an emoticon for flashing the devil horns?
jummy on August 7, 2007 at 10:10 AM
btw, can we treat the “stupid” posts as a free-comment area for any of the non-news stories in the headlines section?
i’ll risk it.
van halen? too little too late. i mean, this is eddie: AAUUUGGGGHH!!!
his last gig was soundtracking a skinemax flick. diamond dave, whom i respect, was last seen being used as a negotiating pawn for xm radio.
jummy on August 7, 2007 at 10:18 AM
Just stupid… not funny at all. And why pick on Burger King ?
Maxx on August 7, 2007 at 11:54 AM
You are so wrong. This just upped BK’s cool factor.

Silly video. What REALLY frosted me though was the throwaway swipe at the Catholic Church at the very end (”And, still to come, the Pope speaks out against a general lack of suffering.”)
Used to love the Onion. Some of their stuff is still OK but their humor has gotten more and more antireligious as the years go by. Wonder why.

Complain, complain. I ask for no pickles, he could’ve just asked for no head.
infidel4life on August 7, 2007 at 4:06 PM
Has anyone seen BJ Clinton lately?

Hold the HEAD hold the lettuce.
Special Orders don’t upset us.
All we ask is that you let us serve it your way.
Have it your way, at Burger Ki…ing!
