Fisch’ link describes an evaluation from 2001 of both brochures (one for the 0-3, and the other for the 4-6 yr. olds), and the findings, which (for unknown reason) were published in 2006 in Cologne by the BZgA. The initial intent of the brochures seems to have been a good one, in the absence of anything like this ever published before.
The emphasis is on education, child understanding, support, barrier-establishment, taboos, dos, don’ts.

The cons seem not to have been considered in enough depth. Both brochures were free and numerous copies were downloaded from the web. Complaint was filed now by a lady and brochures are no longer available. The time-span from 2001 to today is surprisingly long.

New edition will be released this fall by the BZgA, per last sentence in the Spiegel article.

For the 2001 evaluation 60 mothers and 30 fathers of children btw. 0-6 years were fielded. They read the brochures within around 5 days from assignment. On a scale from 1 to 7, the evaluations rated from 5.5 to 6.2, highest rated by those parents with higher education.

The best ratings were in the categories of knowing when, taking seriously and imposing barriers/taboos for children. The same for ratings on what hurts children and provocations.

The brochures not only were liked by evaluators but were deemed “applicable” and “helpful” as no other means were ever available. The evaluation stresses that young children don’t differentiate between emotion and sexuality and can easily be hurt or misguided by either.

On the web there are many forums which discussed the pros (education, source for parents, etc.) and cons (eager uncles wishing to help educate their nieces, for ex.) The brochures have been around for a long time and are now pulled due to a complaint from a lady.

Once I’d finished lmao that was my first reaction as well. This was something criticised directly by Wafah Sultan on some arabic talk show. You can see the extract on the Stuck Mojo ‘Open Season’ CAIR remix (I’m still waiting on my copy that I ordered from Stuck Mojo if Richard Ward is reading this!). She gets pretty angry there about the Koran or the Hadith recommending that fathers take pleasure from their baby daughters thighs or something like that.

Sounds very much like the islamic influence to me. Then again following the ultra-macabre german doctor that did (quite popular) exhibits with (real) plastified corpses a few years ago, I do believe that they’d have come up with this even without help from Allah.

That’s good to know. Though I wonder where the article got that information in the first place.

Also, in all fairness, it should be noted that the booklets were pulled immediately after a complaint was received and that the author could be facing charges for encouraging sexual abuse of children, so the powers that be are taking this quite seriously.

If you have done any reading at all about child development (from people with brains and not with a leftist agenda) or if you were or know someone who was molested as a child, you will know sexual abuse is absolutely destructive to a child’s developing understanding and sense of self. Boundaries are broken down and trampled, and the pain of powerless and betrayal is immense.

Dr. Dan Allender in his excellent book, The Wounded Heart, describes the powerless leading to the path of “doubt, despair and deadness.” Dr. Allender is a Christian and he writes in the context of his faith. It is a compassionate and helpful book and I highly recommend it.

Europe is obviously in the process of accelerated decay.
