It’s launch day for My Damn Channel, a new celebrity video co-op aimed at challenging Will Ferrell’s outfit. They’ve got an odd group of contributors and an odd group of initial shorts, but it’s nice to see high production values on YouTube-ish clips.

Republicans and conservatives should all be ashamed that there are multiple millionaire lefty muckadoos lining up to fund online video “comedy” Web sites just because it fits their agenda.
NEWSFLASH: Just because you personally are the 35+ year-old stuffy conservative Republican businessman and don’t visit FunnyOrDieMyDamnChannelNGTVBlack20-style Web sites doesn’t mean there aren’t millions of people from the 13-34 year-old demographic that DO visit those sites on an hourly basis… and there are plenty of Republicans in that demographic that are hurtin’ for good content that doesn’t belittle their beliefs and values.
Limbaugh, Beck, and Premiere Networks made billions off that audience 15-20 years ago in talk radio but that was then and talk radio is now for the older crowd. Internet video could be huge for political conservative audiences over the next two decades if Republicans stopped being such wusses and put some money into it.
