Thank you Michelle for this great Vent.

Lose is a four letter word. Even my two little sons know that.

The Dems elite should talk to one of them.

Politicians invested in the defeat of their own military for political advantage is the lowest class of politician there can ever be. These no-class politicians have emerged as PINOs (Patriots In Name Only). Let them deal with that. Disgusting.

Bacchus on July 27, 2007 at 8:44 AM

Awesome.

Stankleberry on July 27, 2007 at 8:45 AM

As seen from the “Anbar Awakening”, many Iraqis understand something that the left refuses to even consider – that terror should be blamed on (drum roll, please) the terrorists themselves.

Bigfoot on July 27, 2007 at 8:45 AM

Michelle, There you go agaian with the clear, simple truths. Maybe painful to say and may not survive the comity test, but need to understood.

Exit question:
If the U.S. Military is brought home in defeat, how many will resign and run beside Rep. King for Congress? Any chance of getting General Petraeus to move to Nevada?

TunaTalon on July 27, 2007 at 8:47 AM

This interview needs to be on BO tonight. Hello???????

ctmom on July 27, 2007 at 9:03 AM

Great Vent Michelle. The quality of the content of that interview is so much better than any we would see on television. Thanks.

Congressman King pretty much summed up my feelings towards the democraps using words that are very familiar to this website… The democrap leadership (if we can use that word in this context) “…hate President Bush more than they love our country…” and their “lust for power” drives them to desire defeat over victory. Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Waxman et al are a disgrace and not worthy to hold high office.

By the way, did I notice a second camera? And the black and white scenes are a nice touch.

Zorro on July 27, 2007 at 9:08 AM

Great interview. Great vent.

nailinmyeye on July 27, 2007 at 9:37 AM

Nice work.

King eloquently stated what most dare not speak about this issue: the true motives of the left.

Malpaso on July 27, 2007 at 9:55 AM

Wow. This guy is rational, intelligent, insightful… I’m very impressed and wish there were more like him in Congress. Congratulations to Iowa!

Numenorean on July 27, 2007 at 10:19 AM

Great vent. It’s good to see an R who doesn’t mince words.

Dusty on July 27, 2007 at 10:22 AM

“They hate George Bush more than they love America”

Wow.

infidel4life on July 27, 2007 at 11:39 AM

Bummer for me – Vent in Quicktime, and I don’t do quicktime. I tries to take over your computer. Apple is the new Microsoft.

peski on July 27, 2007 at 11:51 AM

Its the truth about the dems Ive believed for years

Locrian on July 27, 2007 at 12:16 PM

The dimocrats are a disgrace to our country. Their goal is to surrender to a committed enemy. What sane American would even consider turning over the national security of our country to a dimocrat appeaser? Evil begets evil.

volsense on July 27, 2007 at 12:29 PM

Fantastic interview. Michelle, you should send this to every blogger you know and ask them to post it. This message needs to get maximum exposure.

Kowboy on July 27, 2007 at 12:52 PM

…To Rep. Steve King: Please….please move to Washington state and run for US Senator or Governor…
Thanks..

Thanks for the flash version. I have a linux client. Right now, Adobe Flash is the best wide-range video option (without using applications that employ code that may be fettered with copyright infringements) for linux.

Jens on July 27, 2007 at 12:57 PM

Very good interview. His summing up of the Dem leadership was excellent. Good man.

Drum on July 27, 2007 at 1:18 PM

Holy cow, this guy’s cool!

Kevin M on July 27, 2007 at 1:20 PM

“They hate George Bush more than they love their country”
“It’s worth the death and destruction”
Things that should make you go Hmmm.

Here’s a Flash version.

Bryan on July 27, 2007 at 12:10 PM

You rock!

peski on July 27, 2007 at 1:32 PM

Great interview! One of the best I’ve seen on HA in awhile!

I must admit I wasn’t too aware of Rep. King from Iowa, but now I’ll be sure to be paying more attention to him!

asc85 on July 27, 2007 at 1:40 PM

He kept it pithy. I had never seen a vent before this, but I think I’m hooked…

Chudi on July 27, 2007 at 1:53 PM

democrap leadership (if we can use that word in this context) “…hate President Bush more than they love our country…” and their “lust for power” drives them to desire defeat over victory. Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Waxman et al

… would rather reign in Hell than serve in Heaven. Kind of says it all.

IrishEyes on July 27, 2007 at 1:55 PM

This is good news.

Too bad it’ll never appear on the MSM…

He’s 100% correct. In order for the Democrats to win – America has to lose and lose big – the more dead Americans the better.

CrazyFool on July 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM

MORE VENTS PLEASE! It really makes this site special. The unique video content is the best part of this site. MORE MORE MORE.

well done

New Dhemocrat slogan…

Mojave Mark on July 27, 2007 at 3:04 PM

Something’s wrong if O’Reilly doesn’t pick this piece uo for the Factor.

Ernest on July 27, 2007 at 3:21 PM

Is that Bryan’s reflection above the wiggly clock thing?

- The Cat

P.S. This guy needs to be more than a rep.

MirCat on July 27, 2007 at 4:04 PM

Great!

Why can’t we get more of these ’straight talkers’ who are rational yet tough, and willing to ‘call a spade a digging implement’?

LegendHasIt on July 27, 2007 at 4:56 PM

GREAT VENT MM!!!

NOW GET THIS ON BILL O’ SO WE CAN PISS OFF SOME MORE DEMOCRATS!!!

Mcguyver on July 27, 2007 at 5:07 PM

Oh Yeah…. Michelle;
I too miss the daily Vents. Unless you are going to get a regular full-time show on Fox (or somewhere) soon, Or working on some other big secret project, you gotta get back to doing at least 2-3 a week. I’d even pay a subscription fee or PPV to watch!

LegendHasIt on July 27, 2007 at 5:17 PM

“…(the democratic leadership of losers) can’t look em in the eye….”

And that’s what really counts.

I’d vote for this guy if I could.
Thanks, MM, for a great report.

locomotivebreath1901 on July 27, 2007 at 6:56 PM

Michelle and the Hot Air Crew,

Thank you so much for posting this interview with Representative Steven King, it appears the people of Iowa are very well represented by this gentleman. His comments from the Command Sergeant Major say it all. Our men and women in uniform want to win and many of the spineless weasel Democrats and RINOs in Congress want to pull the rug out from them when they have finally begun to secure Iraq due to the help of the tribal leaders and Iraqi forces under the leadership provided by our troops. Please get this on the Factor so the World can see somebody that gets it and hear the real news about what is going on over there.

KC-135A on July 27, 2007 at 7:53 PM

He’s gotten briefings from people that know Iraq better than anyone else but do they know Islam better than anyone else? I’m not trying to put a downer on things. If Iraq can become like Kuwait, peaceful or passive at best, then great. Congress should at least give it a chance instead of folding faster than Superman on laundry day.

aengus on July 27, 2007 at 8:20 PM

Wow, just wow. Telling it like it is. I have seen King before and he is a straight talker. MM, you have got to get this on Fox.

I would like to see Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, Kerry, Durbin, etc, look that Command Sergeant Major in the eye and tell him he is a loser.

Support our troops and support their mission.

BobK on July 28, 2007 at 7:09 AM

Rep. King tells it like it is: The Democratic Party is the party treason.

georgej on July 28, 2007 at 8:38 AM

Fantastic Vent. One of the best you guys have done. I wish I had King in my state.

BadgerHawk on July 28, 2007 at 10:57 PM

They would sink the ship of state just to make sure BushCheney drown, too.

Aesop would have looked the Defeatocrats.

profitsbeard on July 29, 2007 at 2:36 PM

“Aesop would have loved the Defeatocrats.”

Looked?

profitsbeard on July 29, 2007 at 2:37 PM

GREAT Vent! Thank you!

I gives you hope to hear a Republican speak with so much truth and clarity! Any hope that the GOP nominee can do the same? For our country’s sake, I hope so.
