C’mon you guys this is a dis piece against people who use their life situation as an excuse to act out, use foul language and glorify (and lead) ‘gansta’ lifestyles.

There are worse people in the world than Kanye, and people have said/done far worse things than he. But I know how it is.

Not really a fan of his though, just like to keep my mind open.

I thought that was Vanilla Ice.

Maybe Kayne is just being “creative” here, but to me it looks like he has the wrong idea of what a farmer is.

I’ve shot and edited music videos. What happens most of the time when you have a critically acclaimed director who brings their vision of the song to the artist. Often the connections to the actual lyrics are obtuse, at best. A little artsy, a little edgy, a lot of booty and some “hood” shots. You have yourself a rap video.

I’m not sure who was on production here. But it’s not mocking country life. (Country living has become somewhat of a status symbol in the hip-hop world with the rise of Southern rap popularity.) It seems to be drawing parity between two sharply contrasting worlds.

The entire storyboard is probably an exact copy of your typical rap video. The scene setting/location is the only difference. (Did you catch the lowriding homage on the tractor?)

Funny stuff. I refuse to give up my sense of humor just because I’m conservative.
