Video: Gold Star women confront Code Pinkos

From now until the end of time, in every single conflict in which the US finds itself a combatant, we will have to confront the udder lunacy of the left (*nsfw). If they don’t see the evil inherent in the actions of the terrorists and insurgents our troops are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, they never will see any evil other than what they imagine to reside in Washington. And rest assured, they never, ever will see any other evil. Their imaginations are much more vivid than reality.
But confronting them is a worthwhile endeavor. They ought not get away with chipping away at the nation’s morale unchallenged. They ought not get away with oversimplifying the choices facing the nation, and they ought not get away with denigrating the troops as “children” when they are in fact adults who have volunteered for the cause in which they are fighting and dying. These protesters claim to be pro-choice. How about respecting the choices made by those who joined an all-volunteer military in a time of war?
This exchange took place on Monday in the capitol.

I think its great to see the behind the scenes view of these “protests”. Television is the great deceiver. On TV Code Pink is made to look like an important protest movement. Pull the shot back and don’t do the closeups and you realize how small, sad, and pathetic these so called “protests” are. These women are damaged. I don’t hate them. My problem is with the media that inflates their importance. Even media that comes from the opposite perspective or gives a balanced view like Fox still makes these women seem important. Cindy Sheehan is now a national figure. That’s absurd.

Eh…I’m of the opinion that the best way to treat Code Pinkos and their ilk is with a healthy sense of irony–not anger or arguments, because it simply accomplishes nothing.
Was that one of the counter-protesters calling Sheehan a “skank” multiple times? Because I got be honest with you, that turned me off right from the get-go.

If you go to the Zombietime webpage, there is great video of a guy (I think Zombie calls him “sarcastic guy”) making fun of the protesters at the vigil for Tookie, that guy who was being put to death a while back…That’s the way these people should be dealt with: ignore them, and if you must confront them, just do it in a humorous way. That’s just my 2 cents.

Fair enough, and it’s certainly not that I disagree with your point that starving narcissistic clowns like that of attention isn’t an effective thing to do in principle, because it most certainly is.
Rejects, failures, ne’erdowells and plain waste of protoplasm like those losers LIVE for the attention, because it’s all that they’ve got in their miserable, failed, puny little meaningless lives.
The reason that it won’t work is that we’re not their only “source of oxygen”, so to speak. We’re not even the major one. Good point Misha I. But when you say they need to be “stomped on”, you have to see how that will turn off those who don’t already agree with us. I read and appreciated the points you made. And in this forum, with this group of people, we won’t get hysterical and whine about the tone of your comments. But the left will use our own words against us if we name call and use hyperbole. I am a big Ann Coulter fan. But, even Coulter has said that there’s two ways to change people’s minds. Either you make them angry or you make them laugh. Am I the only one who’s noticed that the media is always there for a Code Pink gathering and we constantly hear and read about their idiotic demonstrations of 10-20 people… yet we almost never have interviews with military families who support the mission? Honest oversight, I’m sure…
And these Code Pinkers are infuriatingly stupid… They can’t do anything but chant over people when they’ve got their numbers, but notice how brain dead they appear when just standing there? You can tell most of these broads could be out debated by any 10 year old, and likely are part of this thing just to be “part of something”. I’m looking at them standing there in this video thinking “these girls literally have absolutely nothing going through their heads right now and are simply waiting for the next chant to start”.
As for that NSFW “boobs not bombs” thing… that should be NSFA (A=Anyone)… I felt like I was looking at photos from a cattle auction… Why is it that the nastiest people, the last ones on Earth we’d want to see naked, are always the first to get naked? Thank you to them for pushing back…particularly the one collecting the pension. If the pension woman truly had the conviction of her beliefs, she would also readily give up any retiree medical care for a wounded soldier.

I know this was at the Capitol, but it looked like it was outside of some Senator’s office…was it HillRod’s office?
If it were, the video is interesting in that it seemed like the Seahag had time to meet with the media, and members of Code Whacko, but I never saw the Gold Star wives make it into the room.

That wasn’t just any old counter-protester calling Sheehan a “skank,” WillBarrett. That was a Blue Star mother, and she is also the woman behind the video camera. Her son is a US Marine who is currently in Iraq. In my opinion, this lady definitely has standing to call Cindy Sheehan and any other “anti-war” protester whatever she darn well pleases.

The Blue Star mother who called Sheehan a “skank” did not make her comment in anger, and if you watch and listen, you will notice that. She made her comment in a normal tone of voice, as a statement of fact.
As I said to WillBarrett, this Blue Star mother has standing, in my eyes, to make whatever comments she chooses about a person or group of people who are endangering (by their actions and/or financial support of “the insurgency”) her son and others in our military.
I participated in the counter protest at Arlington Cemetery with the Blue Star and Gold Star families, and I was saddened that these families had to defend their loved ones with very little support and participation from the general “conservative, troop-supporting” public.
When I read the critique of this Blue Star mother’s word choice, and a comment on how better to counter these people – I have to wonder when you all learned that your way works better.
By all means, if you know a better way, please do it.
