Video: Wii Fit — remixed

posted at 11:15 am on July 18, 2007 by Allahpundit

From Sarcastic Gamer, the people responsible for the viral Microsoft Surface parody, comes this salute to the dopey Wii Fit exercise platform. The jokes are obvious but the narrator’s got his deadpan down to a science. If you missed this post last week you might want to start there and come on back.

Eh, I think the weds. stupid is being voted upon on CSPAN 2. I also don’t think middle aged entertainment systems should be poked fun at…are we supposed to play pictionary every weekend? Variety.

Allah since I’ve been writing on this blog, this is the first time I’ve read something that makes me smile thanks! I had been wondering about how far this techo craze would go… and have come to the conclusion we (wii?)haven’t seem anything yet…. BTW I still exercise the old fashion way with weights God, I’m so yesterday! thanks again for the laugh.

MNDavenotPC on July 18, 2007 at 11:25 AM

Oh man that was awesome!

nailinmyeye on July 18, 2007 at 11:25 AM

Yes, it is stupid but it will be a big seller, unlike PS3. Can’t go against the masses on this one.

You’re welcome, I guess. Geez.

Allahpundit on July 18, 2007 at 11:27 AM

The only use I’d find for this is if it could teach me how to dance… then my g/f would gladly buy it for me!

dalewalt on July 18, 2007 at 11:28 AM

Ha! Pretty funny. Its just Power Pad 2.0.

I’m giggling like that weird little pixie thingy from Zelda – Twilight Princess.

Didn’t SNL do a parody commercial about “Big red ball” or something like that. This reminds me of that.

Mallard T. Drake on July 18, 2007 at 11:36 AM

That was hysterical!

We need to do this to the Dhemocrats on the surrender-thon or the give-up-apalooza.

Mojave Mark on July 18, 2007 at 11:58 AM

That’s there’s funny. I must steal its essence to use in my own humor.

Are you thinking of ‘Happy Fun Ball?” (I know you’re partially thinking of ‘Big Red,’ the viking that spins around and shoots red liquid all over everything in the house.)

-Happy Fun Ball has a core made from an unknown substance that fell to Earth inside a meteor.
-Do not stare at Happy Fun Ball.

That was awesome!

Spirit of 1776 on July 18, 2007 at 12:23 PM

I laughed, I cried, it was better than cats.

PS: Happy Fun Ball!

Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball!

Hilarious.

I bought a Wii in January. Played it for about three weeks. Traded it in for a Nintendo DS. Not sure why, I never play it either.

If a person lives in an apartment complex where there are no parks, yards, or other open spaces for miles and miles, then this is the perfect solution for how to get their daily exercise. I was disturbed by the very first Wii commercial, and that impression has not changed since.

Good work by Sarcastic Gamer.

I’m taking mine back.

James on July 18, 2007 at 12:13 PM

Don’t tell that to John Edwards.

right2bright on July 18, 2007 at 3:40 PM

So, why are only the Black folks dancing? Obviously, they are in need of a phone call from Al Sharpton.

Zaire67 on July 18, 2007 at 5:02 PM

I am a techno person and love to run out and buy lots of new electronic thingys. This though? NO WAY. Do they think it will actually sell? Especially with that kind of advertising? I did enjoy the parody but the actual commercial didn’t do it for me.
