My point exactly. Busing kids away from home created a great disconnect between themselves and their community. Remember accountability. Back in the day evey mom in your neighborhood was your mom. It was harder to get away with mischief.

Two of the worst race baiters and rabble rousers on the planet. They justify bad behavior. People like Bill Cosby and Jam Donaldson don’t have a chance against them. Cosby and Donaldson ask for personal responsibility and accountability and that just requires too darned much effort.

I blame school integration for the lack of social etiquette.

What happened to the good old days when etiquette was taught in the home by good role models?

Yeah, it’s like watching fireworks. Or drinking eight beers.

The only thing better than girl fights? Robot fights.

‘77, and as with you, a year ahead. 45 just went in the rear view mirror a bit ago, and my wife keeps telling me I’ll have to slow down soon. Not gonna doit, wouldn’t be prudent.

I had the misfortune in high school of trying to break up a girl fight among two sprinters at a track meet. Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!

I quit drinking after I turned 21, but I believe in another thread AP said he was drinking Newcastle Brown Ale, and I’m not thinking that’s the sort of watery trash to which you refer. My understanding is that it’s a fairly stout brew.

Back in my school, the quickest way to get buzz was to rip some girl’s weave out.

That may well be the funniest thing I’ve ever heard on a news show. Bill O’ looked like he was going to wet himself.

I graduated in ‘78–a year earlier than I should have. I guess that I thought that you were a younger critter than you are, from the photos that I’ve seen of you.
