Slowly, dimly, and in spite of the “good news” blackout, some in the traitor MSM are getting the message. Or more correctly, letting the message get through to the people.

I did NOT hear this story on the New Hour.

I did NOT hear this story on the network news that I watched.

But it got through on CNN.

And anyone who knows anything about the military knows that 4 star generals, especially the Chariman of the Joint Chiefs, DO NOT blithly stroll about in a hot battlefield.

Most of the traitor MSM has been working overtime to tell the story that we have already lost in Iraq. From US KIA and suicide bombings, to “analysts” pontificating on how the surge is not working.

And then Gen Pace goes strolls through the marketplace. There won’t be any reporters laughing like they did at McCain when he told a similar story this time.

Somebody ought to ask Harry Reid, Carl Levin, and Dick “The Turbin” Durbin about this, on the record, and see how badly they stammer out an answer.

General Pace may have failed to end the Iraq war but he is still an honorable man.
When the Dems declared that he could not be confirmed for more time as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Secretary Gates asked him to resign. General Pace declined to resign while Marines were under fire.

Senator Reid may have failed to end the Iraq war but he is still majority leader.

This person has probably finished High School and he has been in Iraq for a long time and his comment displays just how worthwhile it is for America’s continued sacrifice:

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said on Saturday, “We say in full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility completely in running the security file if the international forces withdraw at any time they want.”

The democratically elected leader of the sovereign nation of Iraq, fully recognized by the United Nations and international law, has just stated he has full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility. What part of that do you license anyone else to reason they have the right to say otherwise?

The current surge strategy as designed by Freddy Kagan in the American Enterprise Institute is designed to buy time for the Iraqi government to stand on its own; to pass reconciliation legislation amongst the Sunni/Shia/Kurd as well as sharing oil revenues; the same Iraqi government that plans to take the entire month of August off while America does its heavy lifting.
