On the Mondays with Michelle and Kirsten segment, Papa Bear learned two useful new words tonight. The first: “trolls.” The second: “nutroots.” The issues were Michael Moore’s trolling for movie-going foot traffic by attacking CNN, and John Edwards’ absurd lurch to the hard left on a poverty theme, delivered from the vast porch of his 30,000 square foot house.
Guess who did the schoolin’.

Since Michelle and Kirsten both have blogs, I was really hoping Bill would have had Michelle and Kirsten comment on his opening segment tonight about JetBlue hosting the KOS mash. As usual, Bill sent his intrepid producer out to question the CEO of JetBlue about comments routinely found on KOS. It was pretty funny.

It is such a shame that all those brains are wasted on such a gorgeous woman. (Or is it the other way around?… Gorgeous wasted on a brainy woman.
It is just a shame that Michelle got so much of both when hundreds of millions of others get only one, and more hundreds of millions more get neither.
Was a little disappointed that Geraldo wasn’t there to get ‘taken to school’.

I’m disappointed (though I correctly predicted) that there wasn’t time for her to blast FNC for continuing to ask “was the recently released UBL vidoe ‘new’?”, and there wasn’t time for her to tear Geraldo a new one. I hope there is another segment coming this week.
That said, did Bill take the ladies for cocktails before the show? Everyone seemed more giggly and jokey than usual, especially MM. Michelle was making all kinds of goofy faces and was a lot less in “serious mode” tonight.

Michelle ought to steer clear of the Loofah Leprechaun. She should maybe concentrate on CNN Headline News for her own show. I’d put her on following Glenn Beck and move Nancy Grace to FNC along side Greta.

Yes, Allah, Bill always states that Michelle is in Washington when she is on with him and Kirsten.
Tonight’s segment was fun to watch. Perhaps Bill did take the ladies out for cocktails before the program (hey, Bill, I’ll take some Midnight Express, please, thanks!)
My ex-boss is from Canada. He is as left as they come (Green Party, Michael Moore has a point, Bush lied, etc.,) and while he does favor a socialized medicine program, he did state to me that he would rather get treatment in America than in Canada, not because the doctors in Canada are bad, but because of the length of time you need to wait for treatment, the scheduled priorities, the time alotted for a doctor, etc.

Somebody should point out that “troll” is actually a pun. Yes the punny part is the Norweigan monsters that hide under bridges, but the term itself comes from casting bait from a slow moving boat to get fish to bite.
Trolls cast their provocative bait into blog threads to get attention “bites” so they can play the “fish”.

A Michelle/Kirsten tag-team in a Hannity & Colmes type format is something I’ve been
fantasizinghoping for for a long time. Not as “another” H&C, but to replace the current duo.Bill had better watch out for his job security. If Michelle really wanted it, she could probably take his job with little effort. Consider:
1. Michelle has more of a cross-media feel for news and events than he does. Columns, books, blogs, and now television. Bill wondering who the “nutroots” are is really out of touch in the Internet Era.
2. Michelle sharp, witty, and intellectually quick on her feet. She can charm the hell out of you with a demure smile or disarm you with her laughter, but you should never underestimate her or needlessly provoke her. Bill too often comes across simply as a blowhard.
3. Michelle would be a tremendous ratings draw. Her
worshippersdevotees have been hungering for her to get a program of her own, and FOX would be the logical place.4. And does it need any further mention that she’s oh-so-easy on the eyes?
If not Bill’s show; if not her and Kirsten supplanting Hannity & Colmes; then Greta Van Susteren, the bell tolls for thee….

Edwards brings a new level to the word hypocrisy. The global warming cult is reminiscent of the medieval Catholic church with the buying of “indulgences.” People like Edwards live in the sin of excess but simply buy “carbon offsets” to make everything okay.
I’m getting a laugh out of the latest bottled water crisis. The “warmers” have decided that plastic bottles are “out.”

Growing up in Michigan’s Lower Penisula, technically Micahel Moore is a troll. All those in the UP are yoopers and those of us in the Lower Penisula are trolls because we live under the (Mackinac) bridge.
