These are also the people with an economic development council that recently brought on Zimbabwe to give advice, despite Mugabe has only recently destroyed any semblance of an economy in Zimbabwe.

The basic thrust is because the UN is so corrupt and inept, if they were to create a committee to showcase how corrupt and inept the rest of the world is, they would actually be doing the world a favor. So inept would they be at finding stupid right-wing shills to serve on the committee, that brilliant thinkers would actually run the committee the UN designed to be incompetent and irrelevant. (Read the satire, it’s much funnier)

I may be wrong, but I think that several countries have ratified the EU Constitution. As I understand it, they keep re-submitting it to the rest of the nations pretty much indefinitely.

In other words: the agreement must PASS ratification, but there is no provision for it to FAIL.

Which is unique, because it’s mad.

Therefore, imperious Sr. José Manuel Barroso, Ms. Angela Merkel and others want to shove it down the throat of the ‘empire subjects’. Herders and sheep, so they think. How aloof. How European. Only a career bureaucrat who has become accustomed to waving his hand and/or signing a piece of paper to get things done could say that with a straight face. The term “oxymoron” comes to mind, as the only way anyone could be this much of a moron is if he was suffering from deficient oxygen transport to the brain.

I could argue the the European Union crowd (or “Brussels Sprouts”) are very “imperialistic” toward people and countries they disapprove of. (The United States, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, and Steven Harper come to mind.) But it’s about to become academic, anyway.

Because within two decades, due to a combination of demographics, repeated “concessions”, and plain, unopposed naked aggression, the region to be known as al-Andalus (formerly Spain) will be the jump-off point for the Islamic reconquest of Europe, as the present generation of “holy warriors” finishes the job that their forebears couldn’t quite pull off in the 13th Century.

This time around I don’t see a Charles Martel in the on-deck circle to stop them at Poitiers’. Unless it’s Sarkozy, and he has a small problem, namely the fact that the entire present French Army is slightly smaller than the Third Herd in total number of men under arms. They’ll need a bit more than that, I suspect.

If Europe is very lucky, the Bundeswehr may have enough throw-weight to keep the Caliphate south and west of the Rhine.

Which means that the Brussels Sprouts will go down in history as the people who were so busy preening themselves over their moral superiority, they never noticed that they were standing on the express track until the train was two feet from them.

I don’t think they’ll be able to jump that fast.

I’m just trying to figure out while listening to him: “is he playing the role of Emperor Sidious or Darth Vader when he is explaining his new ‘empire’?”

I kinda feel sorry for the guy. As fast as Muslims are migrating and taking over in places like Paris and London, he might be telling the truth more than he knows. I’d say in about 20-30 years Europe might truly be an empire…..a “Muslim” empire that is!
