I am not an Amnesty Supporter. I don’t believe in it. I want the borders to be closed, welfare programs cut off. Hell i even want doctors to have to report pregnant women that they suspect as being illegal.

My point has been, we have to turn some of this anger aganist the other side on some other issues.

And who in their right mind would actually plead guilty to drug trafficking because he had no choice? Granted, some judges do warn people that if they plead innocent and are later found guilty, it will go hard on them. And some DAs do use bullying tactics and threats to get a confession so that they can clear their calendar of cases not caring if the person is innocent or guilty (I personally know someone who went through that type of threat and that person was innocent).

Laura Ingraham IS acting like a Conservative, a true Conservative. From a former Democrat, like myself, I can say without a doubt, Republicans lost the majority in both houses because they didn’t act like Conservatives during their campaigns by supporting the Booosh/Kennedy/McCain/Clinton/Obama AMNESTY SCHEME. However, don’t fret, Democrats are having their own purging as a result of the exposure of all of the AMNESTY supporters as well. I just thank God that YOU AND OTHER AMNESTY SUPPORTERS represent only 20% of the voting population.

I hear what you’re saying Kara. I live about an hour from the border. I live around a lot of Mexicans, legal and illegal. They’re not all good, they’re not all bad but only taking jobs that Americans won’t do is a joke.

The problem is that I love America more than them. I feel that in the quantities that they are coming here they can’t help but be harmful to this great country of ours. Should we increase the legal immigration rates? Maybe.

We will never successfully prosecute all the businesses that hire illegals. Slow them down…. maybe. ID’s will always be counterfitted and remember they don’t have to be perfect because so many employers want them to be real.

The way I see it, a physical barrier and many guards to patrol it is the only hope no matter how ugly it may be. With that in place, maybe one last time, after deporting the criminals, we can excuse those who’s only crime was crossing the border to seek a better life. deport him i don’t care. but for people to be so pissed off and acting the way they are is rediculous. the only reason the above mentioned radio and tv types are acting the way they are is it is getting some of them ratings and getting people railed up. 12 mil are here, deal with them, law breakers send them home, cut off welfare programs, shut down the border. but can we act like conservatives, we did in 2006 and we lost both houses, where was the fight then. Outside of those of you that live in texas, cali, and azo that have been fighting this for years, most of you are just getting on the band wagon. the majority of the people here just want to feed their families, thats all. does not mean their right for crossing the border, but have some compassion. i did not say have compasion for the criminals. but majority of them are law abiding good people. its a tough issue. there is no reason to be mean about it.

I like that…a step further: Let’s surmise what industries/products could be affected & notify everybody, via the net, to stock-up prior to Labor Day, thus giving them no favorable financial data (while supplying us w/ very favorable data)

Someone else mentioned it, but I am with ya. I want them to stay away from work in September. I hope they do it for a month. I want to see which businesses are left standing.

I too would like to see the Hispanic poycott of American products and jobs. Why do you think they have never “pulled the trigger” on that tactic? I’ll tell you why. They aren’t nearly as relevant as they wish they were, and they know it. American business is characterized mostly by resilience, borne of freedom. That’s why we’re American and the (socio-political) toilets these people come from to get here aren’t.

It’s a good questions she had at the end, why doesn’t he “boycott” or protest Mexico? Or better yet, effect real political change there? Wouldn’t it be better if, instead of coming here to leech off of our freedom, they just got their own house in order, and competed on their own terms? I would love to have a stable, law-abiding, productive neighbor on our southern border. I would like to see them earn respect, rather than simply making preposterous demands.

Too bad Laura didn’t ask him about Mexico’s immigration laws, under which any non-Mexican in Mexico can be forced to leave, for any reason, if requested by any Mexican citizen. There are quite a few government jobs in Mexico that require the incumbent to be Mexican-born, and some even requiring the incumbent’s parents to be Mexican-born. This even includes jobs in the Catholic clergy. (They don’t have our “separation of church and state”, you know.)
