Honestly, I believe that’s one of her, um, business ventures with her, um, spouse, right? I think they put together a company to offer cruise vacations to “alternative families” like their own.

She can’t sing, she can’t act … she stands up there and plays herself – a sour, vindictive, unhappy and jealous self-proclaimed lesbian (part of her schitck). Double wow. Think of the chefs who’ve labored all day long to prepare all those fancy culinary delights and their clientele is just sitting there in the dining room, slack-jawed and green, and the seas are as placid as a sheet of glass.

I consider myself pretty moderate and objective; after all, I once would have called myself a liberal. I voted for Bill Clinton twice. I voted for Michael freaking Dukakis. And while I might be a bit embarrassed of those votes now, I think it gives me some street cred when it comes to looking at both sides more objectively.

Which is why I ask again: does ANYBODY sincerely, in their heart, believe liberals are more tolerant? More supportive of true diversity? More open to opposing viewpoints?

I don’t think so. I was pushed to conservatism by seeing exactly the opposite in action, time after time. I will never, ever forget my time at what is supposed to be one of the best law schools in the country, an institution that supposedly embraces diversity and tolerance.

It was the singular most intolerant place I’ve ever seen. Yes, it was diverse – in terms of skin color. But EVERYBODY thought the same, everybody had an exclusively liberal world view, and anybody who even raised questions was immediately shunned and attacked.

The examples are everywhere. Liberalism may have once been tolerant, but today it is the opposite. True story: I was recently a member of a message board on another topic. Completely unrelated to politics. It was about an interest we all shared, a real passion. I really enjoyed the board, because nobody talked religion or politics, it was all about this shared interest, right?

I just left – because liberals on the board began making snide comments, then attacking people for daring to post pictures of troops in Iraq. The last straw was when they made their own little group to discuss how horrible the “Right” is and how they’re right and we’re wrong.

All of this in a place that had nothing to do with politics.

Sorry to ramble, but your comment on liberal tolerance struck a nerve – because I’m increasingly being affected by their LACK of tolerance.

Rosie is the prototypical liberal of today. Hateful, bigoted, narrow-minded, mean-spirited, and completely and totally INTOLERANT.

That’s why their babble about “fascism” is so funny. Because it’s classic projection. Liberalism has become ideological fascism.
