Sure, Breitbart’s had it for a few hours but he doesn’t give you any of the background segment. The big A’s got five and a half minutes of pure gold for you, baby, starting with Dr. Sanjay Gupta slapping around the Iraqi “minutemen’s” favorite documentartian followed by big Mike slapping around cable news’s eternal punching bag. Don’t you go complaining about the little ethnic tweak in his pronunciation of Sanjay Gupta’s name at the end — Mikey’s leftist credentials give him an all-you-can-smear ticket to the racist buffet for eternity.

The man has one foot in the grave with that weight and he is telling us about healthcare?
Thanks for the link Allahpundit!

The racist tweek seemed a little mild for the hype Drudge gave it. I was honestly expected a little more.
Though man, did Moore look like the fat nerd people picked on at my school when I was a kid.
I always felt sorry for the kid, but the way he’d respond to the bullying just made me want to punch him.
Esthier on July 9, 2007 at 8:50 PM
Ugh. Setup was better than the video. Can’t take either of these two seriously.
Spirit of 1776 on July 9, 2007 at 8:51 PM
Gee M Moore is even lying about being invited back to CNN.
There’s a shocker.

Moore looks well on his way to type II diabetes.
PRCalDude on July 9, 2007 at 8:55 PM
And I guess he had to divert the attention away from the fact that he couldn’t defend what Gupta pointed out about his latest sham!
P.S. Look CNN survived without MM
Pam on July 9, 2007 at 8:55 PM
So, Moore’s lost MTV and CNN? What does he have left?
amerpundit on July 9, 2007 at 8:57 PM
And that’s how we know you really care, Allah.
Esthier on July 9, 2007 at 8:59 PM
Did he actually say that Goracle was right about the war before it started? Aren’t we taking this leftist clairvoyance thing a little too far?
Also don’t you think it’s just a tad bit hypocritical that Moore is worried about being edited in a taped extra portion of the interview? I wonder what Charlton Heston would think about that?
If you watch this segment on Breitbart TV they include Wolf’s hand off to Lou Dobbs, with a little Moore-Chavez comparison from Lou. For once I agree with him.
HockeyTemper on July 9, 2007 at 8:59 PM
Poor Michael. He’s the victim afterall. Someone dared to challenge him with facts he conveniently leaves out of his “documentaries”.
Yakko77 on July 9, 2007 at 9:00 PM
blah blah blah…blah…blah blah…
change the subject…talk about Iraq not health care…
blah blah..blah
About the only person that respects him is Cap’n Crunch.
Limerick on July 9, 2007 at 9:01 PM
I think Moore wasn’t expecting this type of fisking of his movie from the liberal press, guess he figured he’d get the Fahrenheit treatment, which now is apparently ‘true’
jp on July 9, 2007 at 9:01 PM
The man is obviously filled with hate.
The truth hurts, don’t it Mikey?
infidel4life on July 9, 2007 at 9:02 PM
This is what happens when Moore is forced to sit and watch criticism of his movies (aka the truth). The dog has a ton of bark but responds to none of what was actually said.

“Yea I saw Dr. Gupta embedded with the troops…”
What the hell does that have to do with his cretability or the points he makes about health care? Does being embedded with the troops make Dr. Gupta a dishonest, lying hack? Funny, you managed to do that all by yourself. Big props, jackass.
BadgerHawk on July 9, 2007 at 9:07 PM
what a pants pissing crybaby.
jummy on July 9, 2007 at 9:11 PM
Hilarious. Moore was given plenty o’ time to rebut the segment or “correct the record.” Instead, the guy just railed against CNN.
He came up with nothing against Dr. Gupta.
I can’t wait to see what “facts” Moore comes up with tomorrow.
DPierre on July 9, 2007 at 9:11 PM
It’s all and act, people. He’s just giving his minions what they want. I’m sure if he’d been in the studio, he would have kissed Blitzer once the cameras were off.
Jim-Rose on July 9, 2007 at 9:13 PM
Being of Indian descent, I have the absolute moral authority on the mispronunciation. The verdict: no big deal. Certainly, not racist. He could have just easily made fun of anyone else’s name.
But I agree with BadgerHawk, he mentioned that Dr. Gupta was embedded with the troops as a medical reporter as a smearon the guy’s credibility. That was the disgusting part of the interview.

I’ve heard that TV puts a few hundred pounds on performers.
That should explain Moore’s appearance. It’s either that or that new buffet only diet he’s on.
saved on July 9, 2007 at 9:22 PM
He looks like Orson W., circa 1957, in that movie where Charlton Heston played a Mexican prosecutor.
only without any of Orson’s talent…
Janos Hunyadi on July 9, 2007 at 9:26 PM
Exactly. He isn’t talking to people who aren’t already worshiping at the alter of Michigan Fats. He’s speaking directly to his alcolytes in hopes of getting them to give him more of their unemployment check. He’s a con man, pure and simple. That’s why he feels no need to persuade skeptics or refute criticism. His fans don’t pay him cause he makes sense, they pay him cause the voices in their heads tell them to.
Of course they would say it is their heart that is speaking to them and it’s just a coincidence that their heart shuts up when they’re on their meds. It’s also a coincidence that their heart sounds like Son of Sam’s doberman.

bbz123 on July 9, 2007 at 9:28 PM
Am I the only one who can’t guarantee they wouldn’t smack this fat son of b**ch in the mouth if they ever had the misfortune of running in to him on the street? He’s infuriating.
I know he didn’t in this clip, but did he ever attempt to specifically argue against anything Gupta said? I’m not going to waste time on his “I was right on the war” crap, because if you paid any attention, virtually EVERYTHING in F911 was a lie. Okay, much of it was just deliberately extremely misleading, because that’s how he stays legal. Clever narrating over out of sequence clips leading the viewer to believe things happened that didn’t.
So I don’t want to waste time on that crap… I’m just wondering if anyone saw the entire segment, and if he ever got around to actually arguing against a single thing Gupta said, instead of just ranting about the Iraq war. Obviously if he’s in the right, he’d have been able to knock Gupta’s claims down without even having to try.
Credit where it’s due, CNN did a good job for once. I’m sure they could have gone further, but even Fox doesn’t spend time debunking Moore’s films that are essentially debunkable beginning to end (search the internet, Bowling for Columbine is full of spin, lies, and misleading, Roger & Me, same thing… I won’t even watch it but as I understand it, the movie centers around him chasing GM CEO Roger Smith around trying to get an interview…. apparently he did actually get the interview, but that would have undercut the entire film). Bravo CNN, sadly I don’t have confidence you’ve turned any corners, rather this was a fluke.
RightWinged on July 9, 2007 at 9:29 PM
Bloated, bloviating, narcissistic prick. Seriously, I wanted to puke by the end of that clip.
Insomniac on July 9, 2007 at 9:33 PM
Well LIBERALS that don,t agree with there own LIBERALS.
If MIKEY could have fitted through the camera, and had
gotten to Wolf,we would have witnessed hand to hand combat.
Moore was becoming unglued, and very agitated.
This reminds me when a journalist asked Bill Clinton
a question at a briefing, and Bill stared at him and in
a huff said,I can,t believe you asked me that.
canopfor on July 9, 2007 at 9:33 PM
Anyone here remember when you were a kid, and you were told to clean your room? Anyone remember how you might whine or pout or engage in some other time wasting activity, so that an hour later, your mother or father would say “If you had spent all that time cleaning, you’d already have been done!”?
Well, Michael, if you’d spent all that time actually rebutting the report and not going on a rant against CNN because they smelled the manure and put an actual medical expert up against you, you’d have vindicated yourself!
Oops…didn’t take into account that all he could say was “You’re a liar! Tell the truth!” because there was none behind his movie.
MadisonConservative on July 9, 2007 at 9:35 PM
Why did Wolf let him blow and blow? Never once did he ask for a source of his mis-information.
CrimsonFisted on July 9, 2007 at 9:36 PM
Hilarious; what a sniveling, self-absorbed weenie.
Jaibones on July 9, 2007 at 9:41 PM
Seems ol’ Mr. Moore wanted to talk about Iraq more than his little movie there….
Wolf did a good job zingin’ him though…”We invited ou several times in three years, and you declined…”
Moore…”hummana hummana hummana”
And you took the words out of my mouth, RightWinged…the whole time during that interview, I just wanted to punch the guy!
JetBoy on July 9, 2007 at 9:43 PM
I never knew Wolf Blitzer was a neo-conservative who used his air time to promote the Iraq war. Thanks for Moore helping see something I never saw before!!! So I guess anyone who doesn’t agree with Moore is propagandist for “BushCo.” Did he even mention once mention “Sicko”?
terryannonline on July 9, 2007 at 9:47 PM
Aww, poor baby. His movie’s tanking. No one believes his line about the health care (probably because they know better). So he pulls out the ol’ punching bag of the “War” and how the media didn’t do its job. Come on, Mikey, they have pulled out fake news sources and hidden massacres by terrorists. They can only do so much.
Is that what’s considered “mature debate” by liberals? Because that was pathetic. Funny, but pathetic.
mjk on July 9, 2007 at 9:50 PM
For CNN (very liberal itself) to call Moore out on his movie means that in the old saying “something’s rotten in Denmark” - and it ain’t the health care. What’s even funnier is that Fat Boy has the balls to whine about CNN being biased and “not telling the truth to the American people.” The guy has lying down to an art.
My mom wants to see Sicko but after I show her this clip she’s probably going to change her mind. Because to be quite honest Moore makes himself look insane.
Ryan Gandy on July 9, 2007 at 9:55 PM
Moore is so discredited now that the left is attacking him too. This will be Gore in a few years, wait for it.
Buzzy on July 9, 2007 at 9:55 PM
A bunch of doctors I know went and watched it and they absolutely hated it and called it: Propaganda B#*Sh@#!
It didn’t take more than 45 seconds for him to drop the ad hominem attacks….
The only reason we are in the mess with the war, is that we have decided to fight it like Vietnam, rather than the way we should have: WWII. Total war, total destruction of one ideology…either theirs or ours.
Tim Burton on July 9, 2007 at 9:55 PM
Is there a transcript for this anywhere? I’d like to see what he’s blabbering about, but I can’t stand listening to that gigantic double-chin of a man.
chinotex on July 9, 2007 at 9:58 PM
PS: I don’t think CNN is going to give Moore a chance to appear on their station again.
Ryan Gandy on July 9, 2007 at 9:59 PM
He’s invited to make an argument about a film he just made and responds by impugning the motive of the reporter and then going on a rant about how CNN hasn’t invited him to their studio for three years. His shaking and the timbre of his voice confirm what I’ve always suspected, that the offense to his ego enrages him more than the supposed injustice of private healthcare which he was invited to talk about. He shouts at CNN for refusing to disclose the facts even though they’ve given airtime to do just that. Oh by the way I haven’t been invitged onto CNN in the last three years either, or ever in fact, but I’m not filled with rage despite the fact that I’m more articulate than Mr. Moore and more coherent in my political arguments which isn’t exactly difficult.
aengus on July 9, 2007 at 10:00 PM

Bad Candy on July 9, 2007 at 10:02 PM
Dammit…MTV, not MTC.
Bad Candy on July 9, 2007 at 10:03 PM
What I saw was a textbook example of how the Left debates. When they can’t argue the facts, they personally attack the opponent and change the subject by going off on tangents. attack-attack-attack. Textbook.
TheBigOldDog on July 9, 2007 at 10:03 PM
It’s one thing to talk about WMDs which are unverifiable whatever side of the political spectrum you’re on but Moore’s arguments about healthcare aren’t accepted becuase people by and large aren’t stupid.
aengus on July 9, 2007 at 10:03 PM
Can we include Moore will Bill Clinton in the chutzpah category?
terryannonline on July 9, 2007 at 10:09 PM
“White people scare the crap out of me. I have never been attacked by a black person, never been evicted by a black person, never had my security deposit ripped off by a black landlord, never had a black landlord never been pulled over by a black cop, never been sold a lemon by a black car salesman, never seen a black car salesman, never had a black person deny me a bank loan, never had a black person bury my movie, and I’ve never heard a black person say, ‘We’re going to eliminate ten thousand jobs here - have a nice day!’”
“It was when Moore went into a rant about how the passengers on the planes on 11 September were scaredy-cats because they were mostly white. If the passengers had included black men, he claimed, those killers, with their puny bodies and unimpressive small knives, would have been crushed by the dudes, who as we all know take no disrespect from anybody.” — From an article by Yasmin Alibhai-Brown describing a Michael Moore show in London

I’m Indian American, and the pronunciation snark is not as bad as the Macaca incident a year ago in Virginia. Honestly I wish I didn’t see the movie Sunday. I don’t need a movie to tell me that HMOs and other health insurance companies are the scum of the earth.

Darnell Clayton on July 9, 2007 at 10:29 PM
Some take it to different extremes than others but M Moore certainly takes it to next level and beyond. The way he got all offended and went on the attack shows how paranoid the man is and it’s made him delusional to an extreme which certainly shows in his “documentaries”. There’s a differenet reality floating around in that head of his but he thinks we’re the ones who need to be shown the way. Maybe they can develope a pill to help the poor guy out except it’d come from our health care industry which he seemingly hates so much and might not take it regardless.
Yakko77 on July 9, 2007 at 10:32 PM

Sort of on topic, but I emailed Ohio Governor candidate Blackwell and told him that if he would do one thing, he could easily win the Governorship.
Car insurance is mandatory. A car, an object. If he would make it no longer mandatory to insure the car, but to carry health insurance, he could win.
OK, I am not for making it mandatory for either, or seat belts, though I wear mine just to prevent being stopped.
Mandatory car insurance continues, yet millions in Ohio still dont have health insurance, which is more important?
I know, neither is great and leads to big government, but still, it is a law now, and families are wasting money on CAR insurance when they could be paying for health insurance.

Well now, that was certainly worth the viewing time! I enjoyed that just ever so much! Very instructive! So, it is plain to see Mr Michael can dish it out but he does not like to take it! No wonder he avoids interviews! This was very good! What a cry baby! I am just so amazed that such a snake as Michael Moore, who makes his living by creating trash propaganda, can so easily lose his cool when confronted with just a few facts! He should be confronted more often.

Lee on July 9, 2007 at 10:45 PM
One last thought, it would be interesting to know how many small families could live off the food Michael Moore consumes for himself in one week. Also, if he is so against profit, why does he charge to see these films? He should lead by example and just give his movies away for free. I wonder how he would respond if he were repeatedly questioned about his profits?
JellyToast on July 9, 2007 at 10:46 PM
I’m waiting for the substantive rebuttal. All I’m hearing is innuendo (that they are in the pay of Big Med), assertions (without facts behind them) that they are wrong and he is right, plus one hell of a lot of pissing and moaning. This guy, so known for dishing it out, can’t even take a fingernail’s worth of criticism from some of the most lib-sympathetic journalists (Moore would have put scare quotes around that) there are. Boo hoo, boo hoo. Mommy, mommy, the big bully boy said I told a fib. Waaaaaah!!! Here honey, have a nice chocolate sundae.

I thought he was going to have a heart attack. But as was said above, typical left. Change the subject when challenged, try to deflect from yourself. Never knew CNN was part of right-wing conspiracy. 2. “Ratatouille,” $29 million.
3. “Live Free or Die Hard,” $17.4 million.
4. “License to Wed,” $10.4 million.
5. “Evan Almighty,” $8.1 million.
6. “1408,” $7.1 million.
7. “Knocked Up,” $5.2 million.
8. “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” $4.15 million.
9. “Sicko,” $3.65 million.
10. “Ocean’s Thirteen,” $3.5 million.
Such a sore loser.
With a Production Budget of: $9 million and a total gross of 11 million it’s going to lose him money…. so we can all feel very sorry for the Sicko. I mean what a travesty, he had so much potential….
That sickening yelp you heard from him reminded me of the sound of the lost people in the movie: What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams) as they were walking across the field of heads sticking out of the muck, saying things like, “I only cheated ten people”.
With that interview he just sunk his credibility for ALL his crockumentaries. All those young people will learn a lesson from this.

If bloated pig were a conservative (along with the movie) Woof would have been much, much harder on him. In fact, Woof would have had talking points in hand and instead of allowing bloated pig to talk non-stop, we would have heard Woof peforming the filibuster. It’s times like this when one doesn’t know whom to pin the “Sicko” badge on.

If M. Moore is just “big” then I’m still a size 4.
Moore “where is the weapons of mass distraction?”
Most precious of all, in the middle of the circus, Blitzer pleads “let’s talk about Sicko”. I’m thinking “Wolf, you’re talking to him”.
HA, thank you, thank you - the endorphin release is sooo healthy. Who needs universal healthcare?
Entelechy on July 9, 2007 at 11:56 PM

When the heart attack hits, assuming he’s conscious, he’ll dial “911″ just like everybody else. And as always, America’s trained professionals will arrive at his side in record time and give him the best care possible on the planet. Hell, he might even survive.
But I like to fantasize America’s health professionals could simply serve notice that they’ll ignore him, and he should make it a point to keep the number for Cuba’s medical collective on speed dial.
Blacklake on July 10, 2007 at 12:04 AM

JetBoy on July 10, 2007 at 12:09 AM
I didn’t see the entire “interview” (if you want to call it that), but only the clip.
But just from what I viewed, Blitzer let Moore run all over him. Why didn’t he handle him better? It would have been easy. He had so much material to work with.
Moore should be on CNN every night, seeing as though he can bully around wimpy interviewers with such ease. He’s better than Rosie on the view.

smellthecoffee on July 10, 2007 at 12:10 AM
You missed the part where they failed to drop to their knees in worship, and instead had the gall to question a mere few of the countless deceptions in his latest propaganda piece.
When a leftist is confronted with arguments that undermine his narrative, the most common tactic is the ad hominem attack–usually an attempt to impugn the motives of either the person they’re arguing with, or those of the people from whom the information refuting their position originated (or, frequently, both). Moore went with the former, insinuating that CNN’s receiving payola from evil pharmaceutical companies (whose products save millions of lives every year, and improve the quality of life of untold millions more). When that didn’t fly, he accused CNN of being biased against him personally, and when that didn’t stick, either, he accused CNN of being in Dick Cheney’s back pocket(!).
It was a real tour-de-force.
