There’s no way we can round up 12 million carp and deport them all, especially not without destroying carp families and destroying the lives of all the little carp fry.

Besides, they just hang out in still water pools waiting for work, they’re not hurtng anybody.

Bush and the senate are trying to push a bill to implement an electronic fence so that we know how many of the carp reaches the lake.

All carp already inside the country will be issued with an ID card and are to pay 1$ within 2 years, after 5 years in the country, they are to pay another 3$ and will be issued with a full green card. This will encourage other carp that are waiting to get in to apply through the proper channels. If you ask “why would they do this, if they can just swim in for free?!” then you are a bigot.

The WSJ also just ran an article on poor Slovak teens struggling to find summer jobs in the U.S. — jobs that American teens just won’t do anymore. Boo effing hoo.

A chef in Taiwan is in hot water with animal lovers for serving deepfried carp – while their heads are still twitching.

This may be a better solution.

At least we’ll offset some of the costs associated with the fence.

Hold on now, I live in Michigan and one of the MAJOR threats to the great lakes is invasive species. The salmon and lake trout populations are already on the decline because these carp eat all the food that the slamon and trout feed on. Hence the fence. Michigans economy is in the crapper because of the domestic auto industry woe’s,and a moronic democratic governor, we dont need to lose tourism dollars and our fishing industry. Otherwise we will just shut off the water tap adn watch the rest of you sucker go thirsty
