My concern is that perhaps you were not quite patronizing, and condescending enough in your presentation. I could see how some people might walk out at the end of the evening thinking that perhaps they were as good as you, as caring as you, just as, well, nearly as groovy a guy as you. I would suggest that in future presentations you turn up the condensation a few notches.
