(picking up where our new hit and run troll left off last night)

Fragility, where are you? We need you again to come tell us how FNC is just a big Republican mouthpiece. We need you to dismiss liberals we cite as “not real liberals”, while insisting we accept who you cite as conservatives simply because it’s your opinion. We’re desperate for you to insist that Hannity gets more speaking time than Colmes,, that ALL topics are conservative oriented, and that 70% of the guests are conservative (which, beyond being a lie, wouldn’t actually be a surprise. We saw what happened with the planned Dem debate. We see the Dem candidates refuse to go on FNC shows. In the end with liberals who can’t defend their indefensible positions so they refuse to be interviewed, you might be left interviewing more conservatives than liberals. Again, this hasn’t been the case, but because FNC isn’t Larry King, where they can essentially make it an hour long campaign ad, they run away. Perfect example, Hillary isn’t “not on” Fox because they’re Republican leaning. They’d love to have her and they’d hype it beyond anything. But she’s afraid. Just as Kerry was afraid, and if I recall so was Gore. I think Kerry eventually did go on, but I think it was after the election. Again, if the guests WON’T come on, it doesn’t mean that the network isn’t fair.

Anyway, we all noticed that your comments lacked any examples of what the FNC guys do wrong. Your objections were simply that they’re all Republicans and (your definition of) conservatives. (Again it’s the best when you tell us that they’re conservatives, yet deny that self-identifying liberals are liberals). So you didn’t actually cite anything they’d done wrong, just bitched about their ideology.

So I’ll ask you, AGAIN, what you were afraid to answer… if political identification or orientation is grounds for dismissing their credentials, what do you say about the fact that virtually every survey or poll or study done about virtually every other major news media outlet (and college professor while we’re at it) has shown that at least 80-90% are liberals? Be it political leaning of professors, who journalists voted for in the last election, who they donate to, how they cover the news under presidents of the two parties, etc. No matter what, there is always an extremely unbalanced majority that are liberals. So by your criteria, simply because they have an ideology, they shouldn’t be reporting, right?
