Anyway, so what? I’m probably more libertarian minded than most conservatives too, its a big tent and you have to scrap for what you want. Its the nature of a beast that allows open thought.

Just wanted some to know that Tammy is a true Democrat, and I respect her for that, the conservatives have an open tent and she is proof that good, honest, intelligent debate is welcome in our tent. Which is why people like fragility is still allowed to post on HA.

Yeah, she’s not a real liberal, dumbass. Because the definition of “liberal” in modern American politics is not the same as Classic Liberal. Which is libertarian. So yeah, she’s not a real liberal. She’s a libertarian who pretends to be a liberal Democrat.

By the way, there isn’t inherently anything different about the liberalism of today than the liberalism of say, forty years ago.

If you have spent decades listening to her, you would know that she is a true Democrat. She headed up the NOW organization in Calif., and NOW, in Calif., to the largest NOW org. in the country. When the Democratic party begin to go off the deep end and move into the extreme liberal postition, when NOW became hyper political, and cared less about women rights, then the policly of the left, she resigned.
As an orginal Democrat, she is more aligned with the Republican right than she is with the looney left. She still holds true to her Democrat beliefs (strengthen the middle class, lower taxes, increase the industry, strong defense of our nation, etc.), and defends them well. It is just that she does not buy into the looney left takeover of the Democrat party. Good for us conservatives, doing battle with someone like her would be a lot tougher than fighting truthers, silky ponies, Hillary and her fund raising fiasco’s, Michael Moores, and the rest of the crazy left wing nut cases. I always considered her the most dangerous Democrat in politics (before her talk show) because she is so rational and intelligent.

I just love how open-minded people like you are. Clearly you know me so well that you don’t even need to wait for my response before you type it up yourself.

I don’t even know who David Brock is, so I can’t comment on whether or not he’s earned it, nor can I comment on whether or not his experience with Republicans (I’m assuming you’re talking about a man who was Republican then turned Democrat) is as extensive as Tammy Bruce’s.

But really, we’re talking about a woman who was a head of one of the most liberal organizations in America in one of the most liberal cities in America who still is pro-choice and who still considers herself a member of the Democrat party.

Again, I don’t know who this guy is, but unless he founded CPAC, I have a hard time figuring out how his creds would match hers.

So, the answers is… maybe.

Like David Horowitz, being on the far left and then seeing the light arms one with invaluable inside knowledge and motivational fire. Tammy’s a treasure.
