I also remember the Chaplin had to get his religious supplies from the folks in the embassy, you weren’t allowed to bring a Bible in the country, but you could leave it on the aircraft (No such thing as an atheist in a crippled airplane). If you were Jewish you had to lie on our in-processing paper work that you were Christian and were not allowed to declare you did not have a religion. It was nuts working for these jerks, but being an instrument of political power you salute smartly and follow orders. Besides everyone back home was happy because the oil kept flowing keeping the prices down.

The more I have learned of Islam being quickly awaken after the 9/11 attacks the more I have found myself using every bit of military and personal discipline to keep from encouraging these folks to move back home by force of arms. They are no longer welcome in my community or country.

The middle-class Bolsheviks seized power and dressed themselves in overalls as bricklayers and house-painted to present themselves as the working class for propaganda purposes. I was taught this in secondary school (i.e. high school).
