KP savages Dems over “authoritarian censorship” of Fairness Doctrine

She conveniently neglects to mention Inhofe’s claim that her own candidate of choice is sweet on Fairness and she’s smoking something if she thinks any part of the blogosphere has the same reach as conservative talk radio. But never mind that; this is too hot for quibbles.
I told you once long ago that we’d end up luring her to the dark side. And now, fittingly on this Independence Day, I hereby solemnly declare — mission accomplished.
Apparently, democracy is a drag – but it’s nothing a little authoritarian censorship can’t fix…
Conservatives long ago adapted to life in a world where watching the network news or picking up one of the major news dailies is a virtual guarantee of having their views mocked, demeaned or misrepresented. If you’re a social conservative, multiply the odds by 100…
Liberals claim they just want “fairness” – but if that were so, they wouldn’t limit their concern just to talk radio, the one area where they’ve been shut out (by their own incompetence, mind you – Air America, the liberal talk-radio network, was a complete fiasco). They aren’t concerned that Americans “get both sides of the story” on abortion or embryonic-stem-cell research or abstinence training. They weren’t concerned about “fairness” when Katie Couric blamed evangelicals for the death of Matthew Shepherd.
They protest that the airwaves belong to the American people. They’re right – which is all the more reason to keep grubby government mitts off of them…
Back on planet Earth, people know that we live in a world that has more outlets and opportunities for opinions to be heard than at any time in history. Democratic leaders must know it, too – since they cower in fear from the vitriol and threats of a liberal blogosphere that easily rivals conservative talk radio in its ability to influence elected officials.
Exit question: Who are they going to get to be Michelle’s Democratic opponent on O’Reilly now?

I’d bet you an iPhone that it is.

I’ve talked to her privately about her politics. It’s not a facade. Trust me.

Because no honest person with good intentions could possibly espouse liberal positions? Get over yourself. This type of attitude is exactly what drives independents away from conservatism. They frequently lean in our direction, then they’re told any dissenting opinion they hold is not just disagreement, it’s stupidity or mental illness or treason. It’s not at all helpful.

I never called KP a sociopath, I claimed that by espousing positions she didn’t believe in she was the political equivalent of one. Allahpundit claims KP actually believes what she says. I don’t know.
I have a hard time believing that KP is really a “moderate” given the fact that her stated positions are diametrically opposed to those of her preferred candidate. Hot Air threads relating to this time and time again. I spent five minutes perusing her Powerpo!nt blog and it’s all classic Nutroots “Impeach Cheney, Impeach Bush” material.
I don’t think it’s outrageous to suggest that KP’s may be disengenuous.

I do, absolutely. I believe she is a genuine conservative. Never claimed she wasn’t.

Gotta love the hysterical religious nuts. If it weren’t for you, I might feel bad about sterotyping conservatives.
You, and the other 95% of Hot Air posters, Free Republic posters, talk radio listeners, etc…

Mike, you’re arguing against a point I never made. I did not say that you called KP a sociopath. I quoted you when you called her the political equivalent of one. While you have every right to your own opinion, I DO think that’s outrageous bordering on a Godwin violation. You don’t want to take her at her word, or take the word of Allahpundit, then don’t… but if you really understood what a sociopath is, you wouldn’t play that card. It’s a ridiculous comparison, even if you do think she’s a hypocrite and liar.

Fragility,
Thanks showing us your obvious state of mind (fragile), intellect (low) and scorching case of FDS (Fox Derangement Syndrome). My main point is the hotness of KP. You are obviously a very “well-informed” person. I’m sure you know a great deal about the “issues”.
I weep for people like you who suck the fun out of life by being a complete pain. Why don’t you get out of your parents basement and get a life and maybe a friend.
