As a refugee of the Legs Diamond club days, I was always a classic rock devotee, and basically have no love for thrash of any kind, even less for rap. But like sMack, I recognize the message gladly.

If Legs Diamond rings no bells, think REO Speedwagon, Foghat, .38 Special, BOC, Deep Purple, that sort of thing.

I love the fact that these guys DO what they do. I love OPEN SEASON, and it’s hard to get better. But kudos to Stuck Mojo on their determined patriotism.

I’d much rather have these guys behind me in a fracas than John Cougar, wouldn’t y’all??

sunny: Like DethMetalCookieMonster said, Linkin Park aren’t metal. Ditto with Rage Against the Machine.
The only (borderline) metal song with raped vocals that was ever done was Anthrax’s “Bring the Noise”. And even that sucked.

DethMetalCookieMonster: Iced Earth are a good band. Outstanding? Yes…their second and third albums deserve that classification. The others are merely good, average or mediocre. Unfortunately the last one (Glorious Burden) falls in the later category.

It’s on their album “The Glorious Burden” (the metal album liberal metal heads love to hate). Guitarist/founding member John Shaefer even owns a shop that specializes in war figurines called “The Spirit of ‘76″.
