It’s also amusing how the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened only for kicks. I also thought that after shooting at the hammer/sickle (Soviet Union) and not succeeding, they approached the Jihadis, who pulled it off for them. After all, many Afghans believe it was they who brought down the Soviets.

I thought it was an eyepatch – like it was supposed to Moshe Dayan. Perhaps an amalgam of the two?

I can laugh at this because it comes from a foreign culture whose leaders are murderously opposed to the US and to the West, and which keeps its ordinary citizens in the dark about their own histories. But the Moore clip has no such excuse – although perhaps much the same aspirations. Really, neither divert significantly way from what is taught in any college history program these days. And over that, I can’t even raise a nervous giggle.

Surprisingly gentle and sweet, I enjoyed it. And as a Jew, I found nothing in it offensive in any way. Yet more evidence that we need promote a variety of diverse national cultures so that we’re not always viewing our own society back through the “mirror” of Western media. I wonder what Marshall Mcluhan would make of this? Anyway, two big thumbs up, this should give Ratatouille a run for its money.

michael moore left out the part where we killed over half a million of our own citizens, brother against brother, father against son, to end slavery. I guess that doesn’t fit with the fat rich spoiled American stereotype though.

It’s absolutely clear that the Iranian animator watched the Michael Moore cartoon and was inspired by it. The slavery/KKK scenes were just too similar to be coincidence.

So thanks, Michael Moore, for once again providing inspiration to our enemies. Will you be giving them more anti-American propaganda tips when you visit Tehran?

I found the Michael Moore cartoon rather offensive (oh dear). When will people open their eyes to the fact that slavery still exists today in other parts of the world, islam allows slavery and they were helping africans export the tribe next door to the US and Caribbean, and so on.

Although, one point that may have been missed. Notice where we “freed the slaves?” I don’t remember the US claiming parts of the Arctic. If that’s supposed to be the South…well…can anyone say, “climate change?”
