As others have said, your intentions are honorable, and you have a good heart. However, it is exactly those sentiments you have expressed that Ms. Sheehan (and those who have used her as a tool) depends upon to give her that ersatz “absolute moral authority” to say whatever she wishes with no expectation of criticism or rebuttal.

Her loss gives her not one iota more freedom of speech than you or I possess, and if her loss provides her a shield against criticism, then it also gives her that unwarranted extra freedom of speech. No sir, she deserves and receives much valid scorn and venom for the anti-American garbage which proceeds from her diseased mind, and from the minds of those who have guided her in her moments of fame.

If Ms. Sheehan has a right to continue to speak out on topics which have no relation to her son or the conflict in which he died, then I would demand that every single parent or spouse of those lost in battle be given equal time. Let’s see how that Fairness Doctrine works out for the MSM and the anti-American crowd.

But please stop comparing Cindy Sheehan to Cher. When I confuse those two I will hire mother Sheehan to tie my shoes.

So let me get this straight, because her son died (after telling her he was going to stop seeing her if she didn’t quit pleading with him to “escape” to Canada every time he came home) you will never “ridicule” her under any circumstance? ANY. You don’t think she opened herself up to “ridicule” when she posed for Vanity Fair laying on top of Casey’s (unmarked) grave in a quasi-sexual manner?

I think if Casey could speak he’d “ridicule” her and frankly be grossed out by the photo spread — I know I would.

I think your intentions are probably good, but nobody that steps into the public arena gets a free pass from criticism. Nor should they.

She has ectrodactylism, a genetic bone deformity of the hands and feet. Her brother and her children, Andrea, 18, and Aaron, 15, have it. When she was pregnant with her son, she publicly challenged a radio talk-show host who had focused national attention on her and her right to have children.

Walker reminds me of the two deaf lesbians that wanted to ensure that their child would be deaf also. They felt it would “teach” the child to be empathetic toward others. Cindy Sheehan is all of this and more. Nobody cared that she “left” politics and nobody cares that she is announcing her return for whatever reason. This woman is too pathetic for words. The moral imperitive that launched her “career” is long passed leaving this shell of a human being that has even been disowned by her own family. We should pity mental illness in our fellow human beings.
