Michelle takes on the Homeland Security chief who smeared conservatives and now isn’t asking for the $4.4 billion “emergency” spending to secure the border.

Michelle, Michelle, how can you be so cruel !
Great vent, loved every bit of it.

Name me one civilization that hasn’t occupied land that didn’t “belong” to someone else at some previous point. Take that argument far enough back and we are all operating on squatter’s rights.
Just one of the many BS arguments the pro-amnesty crowd like to repeat ad-nauseum.
PBoilermaker on July 2, 2007 at 3:27 PM
The Bush WH has gone into the liberal camp. Does anyone in the Bush wing of the GOP undstand what law and ORDER is?

Chertoff reminds me of this guy.
Guardian on July 2, 2007 at 3:43 PM
There, now it makes sense.
PBoilermaker on July 2, 2007 at 3:44 PM
What are you? A racist? Do you hate all brown people or just Mexicans?
PBoilermaker, exactly. The only difference is that we kept breaking treaties and we didn’t eat the people who were here before us.

“You’re doing a great job Miguel”.
On a serious note – what prevents him from enforcing the current employment laws for legal immigrants? And what prevents him from enforcing all immigration laws?
Entelechy on July 2, 2007 at 4:04 PM
Political agenda and money.
PBoilermaker on July 2, 2007 at 4:29 PM
Good vent Michelle. If there’s one thing this immigration fiasco did, it exposed people for what they really are. Friend, foe or weasal.

Someone pointed out if you put a robe, a long beard and funny hat on Michael Chertoff and he smiled he would look like, gulp, ahem, gasp – you know who. Maybe Osama is not hiding out in Pakistan after all. Let’s see Chetoff’s birth certificate.
Texas Mike on July 2, 2007 at 5:35 PM
Just called Chertoff’s department and demanded that he stop whining and blaming the Senators, who so heroically defeated the AMNESTY SCHEME, and start enforcing our immigration laws, which include, but are not limited to, deporting Illegal Aliens who have not been inspected by immigration officers. Begin building the wall at the southern border and take the enforcement first approach to Homeland Security. And, if he doesn’t want to do the job that he is required to do, he needs to quit or just resign. GET OUT Mr. Chertoff!!! GET OUT!!!!
DfDeportation on July 2, 2007 at 6:28 PM
There is a reason that jerk and Chert rhyme!
AZCON on July 2, 2007 at 8:36 PM
…and a reason they both end in off…

Guatemalans and Salvadorans hate Mexicans, and for good reason too! Me? I love everybody!
DfDeportation on July 2, 2007 at 9:24 PM
As slow as the wall is being built, the RNC will go broke.
NO MONEY UNTIL THE WALL IS BUILT! ALL 800 PLUS MILES OF IT!!
NOT ONE DIME!!

Michael Chertoff is about as trustworthy as Bush. In my opinion both have an agenda that favors corporate and wealthy interests at the expense of the nation. Neither can be trusted to act in the best intersts of the United States because of their bias to wealthy special interests, and both should be replaced – immediately.

Note to:
Micheal Lettuce Chertoff, Jorge Wiener Bush, Tony Snowflake, Trent Loathe, Lindsey Gramnesty, Arlen Spectator, Ted Bigdig Kennedy and the “gang of thugs” who supported the Amnesty Bill and voted for cloture.
You know it and we know it, that “we the people” are running this country.
Therefore this is our firm resolve:
We will NEVER forget your insults.
We will NEVER forget your condescension.
We will NEVER forget the feeling of hopelessness.
We will NEVER forget the joy when your votes failed.
We will NEVER forget the horror of feeling out of control.
We will NEVER forget our anger at your pompous words.
We will NEVER forget your disrespectful actions.
We will NEVER forget that this is our modern day psychological Revolutionary war.
We will NEVER forget that we are collectively embodying the “spirit of Winston Churchill” fighting against psychological Nazis.
And for your information, the word NEVER means always and forever.
Long after the Democrats have forgotten the hanging chads and Bill Clinton’s impeachment, we will remember you. We will write your insults into our history books and put into law Constitutional amendments, requiring schools to teach about your insults. We will dedicate websites, books, literature and monuments in honor of your insults and fitting hyperbole nicknames.
….Just thought you might want to know….

THIS is why I am not fond of the new layout of HA.com. I completely missed this new VENT posting until it was referenced in another blog. In the old format, the VENT was the focus of the entire site.
I’m getting used to the new format, and posting this makes me feel like someone who is disappointed that we didn’t kill more people after a war was won, but I enjoy hearing MM’s take on things as well as Bryan and Spencer’s Vents. Posting other stories is fine, but the VENT is what makes HA special and unique. I just hope I don’t miss any.

Apparently the President and Skeletor haven’t gotten the message yet. It isn’t immigrants that are the problem it that illegal thing and the American people aren’t really into moral relativism enough to buy into this version of Jocelyn Elders answer to drug abuse (make them legal and no more drug problem).
Buzzy on July 3, 2007 at 1:10 AM
ThackerAgency – you have reminded me Vent is the safety valve for red hot rage air. Thus I have a vent
May I suggest turning them in?
Those model families are following an illegal model. They have invaded the land belonging to another bunch of families, have stolen jobs from the rightful families, and are working to take their votes too. They are not being nice about their crimes and refuse to leave.
Turn them in and then you can start working in a legal environment. If you care about that sort of thing.
Every week is Give Your Fellow American Back His Job Week.
Boy that felt good. A real pressure drop. Vent Concluded

How did we get stuck this dirtball Chertoff ? This guy is a useless git !
He exudes arrogance and pomposity and insults our intelligents and our motives. Its clear that even he doesnāt believe what heās saying.
Thank you Michelle for showing us the hypocrite that Chertoff is, and for clearly illuminating his contempt for the very people he is suppose to be serving.
Maxx on July 3, 2007 at 4:02 PM
That’s funny stuff !

Great Vent Michelle! As usual your commentary is insightful, informative, and on point. More Please!

I have a fever and the only prescription for it is more Vent with MM.
