Fine rant.

That’s quite an imagination you’ve got there Fragility. Do you see seaweed? Manta Rays? Sharks? Barnacles? Buried treasure?

This will get me called names, but I am expecting a miracle remission of Mrs. Edwards’ cancer very, very soon. I do wish her well, but these two pieces of trash have no shame, and nothing they do would surprise me.

And on a related note, down here in Cotton Country we used to have another word for folks like Silky’s oh-so-hard-workin’, poor, put-upon lower class victim of a daddy: down here, we used to call people like him “Boss-man,” or just “Sir” for short.

Just getting a little tired of hearing that empty-suit fraud talk about how rough he had it, when his daddy in truth was a mill manager, and hardly a peon. He wouldn’t even know what a pair of brogans is, much less ever dream of wearing ‘em. Soft clothes for him, and nothing else, ever.

Must be Italian.

It makes a difference.

“Fragility” up there is just ticked because it’s plain devastating.

Ok, I’ll clarify as well. I was not calling Dame Edwards a Cow. I was only referring to her cud-chewin’ style of speaking.

And, the other day when I spelled out the word “Faggot” when referring to Mr. “I’m so Pretty, Oh so Pretty”, I was referring to the UK version of the word which means:

“A meatball made from pork.”

I am passionate about not wanting John Edwards to be president of the United States. However, if I expressed this viewpoint, “with clarity and force,” on the JohnEdwards blog, I have no doubt whatsoever that it would be summarily discarded.

The hypocrisy of liberals knows no bounds.

Elizabeth Edwards (and most of the Democrats) simply say uncivil things and then prance around as if they have just delivered the Gettysburg address.

The thing is, as much as we disagree with her opinions, we’ll still sympathize with her over that. Which is reason #117 on the list of reasons why we’re better than the nutroots.

Folks, ignore Fragility. He She comments on commenters, never on the topic. He’s She’s much poorer at the misdirection and topic-shift game than many who have gone before him her, so he she makes up for it with greater passion. There’s no THERE, there.

On a very serious note, Mrs. Edwards, the staunchly convicted and non-nuanced one (similar to Messrs Bush 43, Cheney and Rumsfeld, and not at all like Mr. John Kerry), looks increasingly ill.

“It was Nietzsche or Kierkegaard who said you have to believe in something so strongly that you don’t acknowledge another’s point of view: That’s what real belief is.”

It is always irrational to not acknowledge another’s point of view, regardless of the passion of your belief. It is wise, appropriate, and acceptable to DISMISS another’s point of view once you have acknowledged it, if it fails to meet a standard of truth or compliance with your existing worldview. There is a glaring difference between considering, then rejecting an argument, and dismissing it out-of-hand with no consideration.

This is one of the primary differences between thought from the left and from the right, and we must always be aware of it. Trying to debate them on premises they won’t even acknowledge as having potential value shows its fruitlessness. It is best to find a broad way to appeal to the reason of all those people who have not gone this far into the mental sickness of liberalism.

Uh-Huh, sorta like that “Rabid Republican” that lives across the street from you and who owns a gun or 2? Puleez!

Saw interviews with that rabid Republican and his trailer park neighbors (White Trash folk, in the Edward’s eyes). The Hairspray twins have never bothered to go visiting with their poorer neighbors. Wonder why that is? hmmmmm…..

As for myself, I can’t recall ever seeing an attractive woman and being drawn to her armpits. Yikes.

Sorry, but that’s not belief, it’s delusion. Belief is being willing to hold to your principles, even when the whole world despises you for it.
