Yes… Iran is our enemy… so the US House last week passed that we can’t use any federal money to figure out Oil Shale technology…

So… world needs oil… we need oil… but we can’t drill off the coast, or in Alaska, or in the Gulf, or make oil shale economicly feasible…

But we can subsidise turning food (corn) into oil with tax dollars..

Iran is a power because it has hard capital to spend on foreign adventurism… we need to take oil out of the equation, and hit em where it hurts… DON’T invade and stay… just punish, then leave.

Bush can rehabilitate his image/legacy if he has Mahmoud Achmadinejad “kidnapped” and “executed” the way the five U.S. soldiers were by Iranian operatives.

And have it look like the work of a renegade al-Qaeda band.

(Slipshod reporters should stop using the word “executed” for these acts of terroristic murder, since it implies a legal sentence by a legitimate government for a crime.)

As a family member of one of those soldiers, I wholeheartedly second that notion. Do it to Daqduq as well.

Daqduq is extremely fortunate that it is not my responsibility to determine what is to be done with him.

I’ll leave it at that.
