I think you are going to be sadly disappointed when they are replaced by Democrats. Incumbents don’t lose often and when they do it usually against someone of the other party.

Are you going to be happy with a 60 – 40 Senate with Dems in majority?

Does anyone see a reason the ads should stop? The sixteen-month festival of videographic vengeance begins now, I say–since I’m not doing the work. If it needs a name, we can call it Carnevale, after our favorite WSJ reporter.

Do you guys think of any reason why the government needs a distraction now? (if indeed Bush pushed a bill he knew was going to fail)

To get the scrutiny out of Iraq and buy some more time until results arrive?

Or he did it to plant the seed for Immigration to be the main issue for the 2008 campaign?

Three bloggers? Luxury! When I did my video I had to get up at three o’clock in the morning, write the lyrics, eat a handful of hot grubble, record 57 takes at the recording studio, set up the tripod, videotape it, edit it, and then my wife would beat me around the head and neck with a broken bottle, if I was lucky!

For those Dems who are still thinking about the “shadowy” support for these vids, it could be helpful to re-view A Day In The Life Of Hot Air where the palatial Hot Air digs are exposed for all to see.

Heh. That would be awesome. It takes some serious Malkins to go after not only a sitting Senator but the head of the RNC. But he’s part of the GOP’s problem, not part of the solution, and always has been. I can’t wait to see how bad contributions are now if they were down 40% a month ago, especially when you factor in all the people that asked for their money back. Shamnesty Mel deserves to get the boot for doing an abysmal job for the RNC and for Florida.

Somewhat OT but related to your analysis. I noticed the Karl Rove and the VP were fairly quiet on this issue. Anybody else get that feeling as well?

I noticed that too, and figured that they knew this was Bush’s baby and that he wouldn’t take no for an answer, whether or not it was a good idea.

This is apparently what it takes to get their attention. Let’s make sure we KEEP their attention. Stay with what works … keep calling your representative and demand they build the fence, sanction employers who hire illegals, stop catch and release, stop any tax payer services for illegals.
