But isn’t it extremely troublesome that people like this are in ANY office whatsoever? Switchback, Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, the list goes on.
Are we in a place today where anyone dumb enough to want the job gets it? Very few humble, good will seeking , altruistic types are running for office at any level anymore.

I’m also amazed that the Republican-at-all-cost crowd hasn’t shown up to tell us we have to vote for him because he’s better than the alternative. You know the folks. They always tell us what a great guy Giuliani really is even though NY was an amnesty city under his watch and he’s the RINOesque candidate out there. Or they whine that the party has abandoned Bush when it’s obvious that Bush gave the finger to the party long ago on spending and the reconquista. Where are they to defend Brownback?

Those stories bring a tear of joy to my eye for thousands of people, much less one, I most likely will never meet in this lifetime. Theirs is the true courage. Theirs is the path less traveled, which was supposed to reward them for their efforts to comply with the Laws of the United States, not those who cheat, lie, and sneak to reap profit from fields of dreams built by those who comply with our laws. The current issues and leading news on immigration just makes me, a bit agitated. Mostly because those who are shoveling that steaming warm moist pile of horse manure are dead wrong on almost every justification. They know, I know it, most of us know it, but they shovel it by the truckloads ANYWAY. Like eventually we’ll all just get sick enough of their tantrum that we’ll give in and give em the damn cookie. Like my teenage son used to say when he was about six-years old, “Save the drama for Momma”

Why, I’d bet my brand spanking new pair of glossy red-white-and blue goose stepping boots that if they’d run as many Legal Immigration success stories, as they do the doom and propagandist-gloom stories, some of those who would benefit most out of realistic immigration reform might just get motivated to make it happen and shed that burdensome weight of being a law breaker. Although, that’s doubtful now that the MSM and every moonbat in America has convinced all 12 million+ ILLEGAL Immigrants that they’re the victim.

You can vote Demo. again, just not for ones voted for the Booosh/Kennedy/Clinton/Obama/McCain/Brownback/Dodd/Biden/Richardson/Kucinich AMNESTY SCHEME. This bill was the dealbreaker for the voters. No more Kool-aid drinking! Enforce our laws, NOW!!

Brownback with this flip flop in yesterday’s [June 28, 2007] cloture vote on immigration shows that he is not a man of character, but an opportunist. A typical politician that sticks his finger in the air to see which way the political winds are blowing when he doesn’t have his hand out for the special interests or trying to hide earmarks from public inspection.

Will he (Switchback) answer CNN’s request to provide his earmark requests? So far most of the House and Senate are refusing to do so.

Sadly and stupidly a staffer for a Republican Senator Crapo of Idaho gave the ludicrous response to CNN that to give the list of earmarks to CNN is against the law. It violates the Privacy law.

Now have you heard anything more stupid than that? Accountability is against the law. Really?

No wonder Congress has an 18 percent approval rating according to the Rasmussen poll. What a bunch of arrogant elites in Congress who think we, the People, are just stupid sheep.

I would have thought the Republicans would have learned something from the election of 2006, but apparently not.

Who am I? A life-long Conservative Republican in Florida who will not vote for Brownback after seeing his actions yesterday at the cloture vote.
