Starting in 20 minutes. Will the top story be the London near-bombings? Will there be an immigration segment with some open-borders shill making dark insinuations about bigotry? Will she studiously neglect to mention that the iPhone is now available for purchase and yet I, inexplicably, remain iPhone-less?
All signs point to yes, my friends. T-minus 18 minutes and counting. Comment below if you’re watching.

The riots happened before the bill was voted on. Ole’ Jon didn’t count on it being American citizens though.
Good job as usual, Michelle.

OT: I thought this was funny, but I have a question for Gut. Does he use Ahmadinejad’s tailor?
Connie on June 29, 2007 at 9:53 PM
She reminds me more of Reverend Mother Anteac, Zorro.
Kralizec on June 29, 2007 at 9:59 PM
WHY is it that Blah O’ Reilly gets a show and Michelle doesn’t?
Not that Bill-O isn’t entirely awful, but he concedes way to much to the other side every time he’s like “oh yeah and white males are running the country so the grievance mongers kinda-sorta have a point.”
BKennedy on June 29, 2007 at 10:02 PM
I never miss a chance to see Michelle! My heart always beats a little faster…
stacman on June 29, 2007 at 10:08 PM
I will say it was very refreshing to have an entire show devoted to actual news, not tabloid crapola. Thanks Michelle!
Bad Candy on June 29, 2007 at 10:19 PM
I make sure to watch anything that MM is on. I wonder if the powers that be at Fox know how utterly appealing she is. It is like she has a tracker beam.
I bet she would pull some gigantic numbers if she had her on show. Or at least a segment that occurred regularly.
TheSitRep on June 29, 2007 at 10:34 PM
Dear Fox, get rid of those p o s called the Beltway Boys. We do not watch Traitors who sell out the country on TV no less. Use that same air time for people who actually care about this country. Michelle, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Savage, your rating will go threw the roof. Your move now..( great job tonight Michelle as always, you deserve it for sure ).
Legions on June 29, 2007 at 10:42 PM
What’s this?! The Leprechaun didn’t allow for an oppornotunity to air a repeat of one of his scantily clad women with a problem segments? I’m shocked!
MrC_5150 on June 29, 2007 at 10:43 PM
Scheuer has always been frustrating vague about what the hell he wants. He focuses extensively on parsing the emotional reactions of Islamists to western actions, but stops just short of blaming the west for evoking those responses. He seems to simply want us to “appreciate” the emotionality of the Islamists, or somesuch. But appreciation is as worthless as ignorance if it doesn’t give rise to a course of action. Yet Scheuer never seems to have a plan.
Meanwhile, the appearance of either Henican or Hernandez alone is usually enough to send me lunging for the remote. Both of them together is about as appealing as roadkill. But for Michelle’s sake I stuck it out. There was indeed enough smarm and smugness there to gag a goat, but Michelle really did handle it well (and I have to admit, I actually enjoyed it when Hernandez briefly went after Henican! Behind that painted-on grin, the sleazebag is such an attack dog he’s genuinely challenged to differentiate friend from foe).
Blacklake on June 29, 2007 at 10:44 PM
I think they serve their purpose; as the name of the show suggests, they offer the perspective of the cynical inner workings of the Washington beltway. Last week, those cynical insiders, on both sides of the aisle, wanted the Amnesty bill. Like it or not, I think the “boys” accurately reflected that perspective, and it’s a perspective that’s valuable to track.
In the meantime, though, if they feel like rolling out “The Blogger Girls” with MM and KP, I’d be all for that, too (I know they tried something like this once, but I suspect it could be done more convincingly).
Blacklake on June 29, 2007 at 10:53 PM
Allah, after a few hot dates (hopefully with 2 or 3 different women) that iphone won’t mean a damn thing man.

Michelle looks so tiny on TV..and if it adds 10lbs I’m not going anywhere NEAR a TV camera!

It is useful in a Know Thy Enemy capacity. It may be wise and helpful of Scheuer to take that tack, to be a “just the facts” guy. If he starts advocating actions, especially when he has no ability to implement them, he’s likely to be shouted down as a partisan, warmonger, etc… and he’s done a pretty good job of staying out of that trap. What he offers should be useful for those who can implement a course of action. And perhaps, in private conversation, he’s more forthcoming in expressing what ought to be done. Just guessing about that, and whether he’s getting such calls.

Enjoyed Michelle as usual, but can’t help noticing that Geraldo and Hernandez almost look like and act like twins (except for the beard), but moustaches are almost identical. Same deluded thinking though.
hamdude on June 29, 2007 at 11:27 PM
Michelle is a Godess.
The timing with Bill going on an extended weekend, coupled with the news out of the UK today couldn’t have been better timed for her appearance as host.
Methinks I smell a setup. Thanks be to God.

I am older and slower so her goes…bad memory can’t remember the name of one of the guys in the act of dumb and dumber(is that david corn?) anyway, i’m surprised not one word from in the posters about this left wing wack’o. We all know who juan hernadenz is the, pukie racist with that sick smile(usually, what happened?)
Michelle did great as usual, at 1st with these 2 racists i was upset like most of the posters, then i watched and listened…i was smiling from ear to ear. Their mad as hell..then like a lil kid they start with their threats…”my brother’s bigger than your brother” bs…the latino’s will pay back both dem’s and rep’s i was laughing while watching em squirm. Loved it, now if someone wants a toy, go buy it…jeeez.
oldernslower on June 29, 2007 at 11:40 PM
MM shows extraordinary intellectual clarity and strength. By sheer force of intellect, she slays dragons that others find deadly. You are a hero. Go, MM!
petefrt on June 29, 2007 at 11:44 PM
whoops, it was Ellis Henican, what a dufus.
oldernslower on June 29, 2007 at 11:45 PM
These guys have PHD’s? Just goes to show you what a travesty our education system is. My 11 year old nephew understands this situation better than both these clowns combined. Of course he is home schooled so he does have an unfair advantage. Seems like all the schools and universities are way more geared toward indoctrination than they are toward education these days.
Guardian on June 29, 2007 at 11:45 PM
I love watching Ellis Henican because he was the voice of Stormy Waters on Sealab 2021.
askheaves on June 29, 2007 at 11:45 PM
Seriously, did he voice Stormy? That would be hilarious if he actually did.
Hernandez is about as despicable as you can get. I notice he isn’t nearly as polite with Michelle as he is with BO, but she didn’t let him steamroll her. As mentioned earlier, his little threat at the end of the segment is telling. You would think some graciousness would be shown by those who are reaping the benefits of being here illegally.
Ellis’ prediction about Latino votes shows you where the real push for Lib-sponsored amnesty stems from. Michelle had a nice comeback…quality smackdown.
PBoilermaker on June 29, 2007 at 11:56 PM
Michele
You did a better job than Bill normally does - I wish he’d take his vacations more often.
His interview with Irshad Manji, which you showed, was a case of the blind leading the blind. Nobody on earth has any clue about what percentage of Muslims support Jihad (which by some accounts is the 6th pillar of Islam), and there you had Bill emphasizing that most Muslims are like Manji (how the f!^& can he know?), and Manji emphasizing that what they do re: perceived insults to Islam violates one particular verse in the Quran. Manji pretty much demonstrated herself to be a taqiyya artist, and Bill seemed more than happy to play along. Instead of replaying this sorry segment, you’d have done well to have a guest like Melanie Phillips or Robert Spencer and interviewed them yourself - that would have been a lot more informative than this stupid exchange between O’Reilly & Manji.

If I went to her house to study, there is no WAY I could have studied. What a fox.
Seriously though, did it seem to anyone else that Juan Carlos, MD of Tijuana was about 3 syllables away from launching into a Ricky Ricardo-esque spanish rant?
MadisonConservative on June 30, 2007 at 12:34 AM
This just in….
As reported by the Associated Panderers:
Juan Hernandez has offered to take Tommy to Guatemala under the supervision of Harry Reid. After this long trek by foot, (since no donations were received for public transportation) Juan will be receiving counseling from the Paris Hilton Spiritual Counseling, LLC. Based out of Smuggler’s Gulch, Nuevo Mexico, PHSC has experienced a deluge of calls from de-immigrants in recent days.
Note: In case you missed the news; Paris Hilton has been entered into the Genius Book of World Records and won a Nobel Peace Prize for the shortest amount of time spent in finding God.
Editor’s note: For more info on Juan Hernandez do a Google search on His Highness, Juan Hernandez
Mcguyver on June 30, 2007 at 12:40 AM
I’m still wondering what his point was with Guatemala…that part sounded like Telemundo. Make illegals legal so the remittances can keep flowing out of America and into another country?????
WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT?
PBoilermaker on June 30, 2007 at 12:42 AM
As a true fiscal conservative, I find myself troubled by Bill O’Reilly.
He’s okay. Not exactly the sharpest bowling ball in the tool shed. But okay.
But if I owned shares of Newscorp Inc. (it is publicly held, I hope …) … well, I’d demand the company fulfill its fiduciary duty to maximize profits.
And I really, really wonder if they might not increase ad revenue by kicking Bill O to the curb and making Michelle his permanent replacement.
She’s a better debater. She has a better grasp of facts. She doesn’t get emotional at all the wrong moments (while reserving the right to get ticked off at the right ones). She’s more articulate, more witty, and more interesting.
She’s far, far smarter.
Bill has his uses. He’s a pit bull when he gets his teeth into something useful. I dig that. But Michelle could - with practice at least - be superior in every aspect, including that one.
And not to belabor the obvious, but she’s all kinds of more fun to look at. There’s a 10 point boost in market share right there.
Rupert Murdoch is ripping his shareholders off. Somebody should complain.
Professor Blather on June 30, 2007 at 12:43 AM
Ah, I guess I didn’t pay enough attention to this segment. All I heard were snippets of Manji saying “moderate Muslims” needed to grow a pair.
PBoilermaker on June 30, 2007 at 12:49 AM
‘Our’ national priorities was a good place to end this clip because that’s what has been missing in most of the government response to the massive human inundation of this country.
The priority of most of those who are sworn to keep and protect us has chosen the Juan Hernandez version of priorities which threatens to destroy our home.
With a public better educated and and more determined than many of those who have been usurping our will for decades, new priorities are being asserted.
Good for us.
Speakup on June 30, 2007 at 12:50 AM
I love it.
Fragility on June 30, 2007 at 12:52 AM
Are you kidding? I love MM, but people don’t watch his show to see the smartest guy or the best debater. They watch Bill for the same reason people watch NASCAR - for the wrecks. They watch to see Bill turn beet red and scream at “pinheads.” They watch for him to say something that will completely PO them too. They watch to see stories that will get their blood boiling. As a shareholder you’d be completely nuts to want to oust the anchor of the #1 rated cable show for anything but a sure thing. Now, if you said get MM to replace Greta or Shep at 3, I might agree that would be worth a test…
TheBigOldDog on June 30, 2007 at 12:56 AM
Michelle does a great job filling in for O’Reilly, but I miss her on the daily Vents. Why have there been so few lately and why has no else been doing any?
I miss the VENTS! It was the whole point of this site, wasen’t it?
Thanks
Irenaeus on June 30, 2007 at 1:01 AM
Those Vents helped get me through my last deployment. Then again, we do see MM on O’Reilly more often and her blog is much more animated with the re-vamp.

Great job tonight Michelle, as always, and thank you for all of your hard work.
xplodeit on June 30, 2007 at 1:09 AM
Why can’t I cue or rewind the video to the point I want? Everytime I hit the pointer and try to scroll it along, it resets to the start of the whole show. What gives?
infidelpride on June 30, 2007 at 1:10 AM
If it’s true that Republicans have lost a large segment of the Hispanic vote, you would think that people like Ellis would be applauding the defeat of the bill. I wonder if they really believe that.
Rose on June 30, 2007 at 1:12 AM
In relative terms Juan Hernandez was very subdued tonight. The skinny liberal on the other hand “you’ll see, no more votes for 20 years, na, na, na, na….” until Michelle asked him about something substantive “the good of his country”. Uh, ah…just a little inconvenience…
On trolls - I really miss honora and her brain. There are trolls, and there are trolls.
Entelechy on June 30, 2007 at 1:19 AM
Yep.
ReubenJCogburn on June 30, 2007 at 1:19 AM
I think they do. Did you see how happy Stormy got gloating about having the blacks AND the Hispanics as part of the Lib victim collection?
PBoilermaker on June 30, 2007 at 1:20 AM
The VENTS were great and I miss them as well, however I expect there are some things (only good I hope) going on in the background that is preventing Michelle from doing them.
F15Mech on June 30, 2007 at 1:34 AM
PB, you’re right, I missed that. But the reason these groups vote for democrats is because of the entitlements that the democrats promise them. But would passing an amnesty bill with republican support help the republicans in this area? The democrats would still be the party of entitlements.
Rose on June 30, 2007 at 1:38 AM
You think I’d steer ya’ll wrong? I don’t care about his opinions as long as I can hear that voice.
askheaves on June 30, 2007 at 3:19 AM
These liberals always eventually wind up at the voting issue, the Latinos will never vote for the Right if they don’t get what they want. They are exactly right, the Balkinazation of the US is what we warn them about and they keep agreeing. A possible 40 milion Third Worlders do not want what is best for the US, they want what is best for themselves and if they get what they want that Ellis Wankerson guy or his children are going to wake up someday in a very unfamiliar America.

We should deport 1 illegal for every dollar spent…the nerve of the Mexican government! If it was not for our satellites they would have never known.
Ah, Michelle was superb as ever.
Ropera on June 30, 2007 at 8:12 AM
Fox News ought to dump O’Reilly and replace him with Michelle Malken. If that’s not possible right now, she should at least be offered “Screamin’ Olbermann wannabe” Shep Smith’s 7:00 PM slot.
Michelle makes O’Reilly’s performance each night look like Amateur Hour. Go Michelle!

How ’bout Michelle replacing Geraldo on weekends. She gets her own show; she still has time for us; and we’re rid of Geraldo!
RedWinged Blackbird on June 30, 2007 at 9:39 AM
MM is as sharp as she is beauitful.
Dosen’t O’Reilly usually have a segment called “Fridays with Geraldo”? Maybe when he found out Michelle was hosting he crawled under his bed, assumed the fetal position, and sucked his thumb until the show was over.
Paul the American on June 30, 2007 at 9:49 AM
I can’t get the video to play, what’s going on? Isn’t there some way that HA could put Michelle’s video’s in flash format like they used to be or so they’d launch in a stand alone player? This is as bad as when some TV stations put video on there websites that just works no matter what you do.
John on June 30, 2007 at 10:20 AM
On the immigration segment, Michelle had two liberal lunatics screaming at her. What was the point of that? I would imagine that at least a few people in the audience would be interested in hearing an intelligent discussion of the issues instead.
I wonder whether she had any input into selecting her guests, or did the show foist all that crap on her?
logis on June 30, 2007 at 10:27 AM
Baptism by fire.
RedWinged Blackbird on June 30, 2007 at 10:36 AM
Glad to see Michelle get somemore air time. Keep it coming.
Legions on June 30, 2007 at 10:41 AM
Um, this isn’t the first time Michelle has been harrassed.
I don’t think anyone was amazed that MM didn’t break down in tears and flee the set. What I want to see (and call me the crazy one if you want) is an INTELLIGENT conversation on a television news program.
The FIRST STEP in that process would have been to turn off the monitors of the two maniacs. Michelle Malking was not able to accomplish that.
What I want to know is whether that was her decision, or was it imposed upn her by the producers of the show?
logis on June 30, 2007 at 10:46 AM
remove the “guest” from guest-host and I will become a much happier camper. just sayin
timwashu on June 30, 2007 at 10:47 AM
I coulnd’t get the video to play either (in Windows XP) but I found a player for .flv files here:

TC on June 30, 2007 at 11:05 AM
That’s the quickest way for a host to lose credibility. I’m sure Michelle knows that.
RedWinged Blackbird on June 30, 2007 at 11:07 AM
OK then, let’s back up a bit. The (I guess) zeroth step in having an intelligent conversation would have been to pick guests who weren’t imbiciles in the first place.
I don’t usually watch O’Reily, but I assume that he and his producers consider this sort of infantile haranguing to be entertainment of some sort. (Although I doubt that he often sets up the shouting matches as two-to-one against himself.)
From her Hot Air segments, it appeared that Michelle Malking was trying to move in a different direction. So I’m assuming that she had absolutely no say whatsoever into choosing the guests on the show.
Don’t get me wrong; thirty years ago, I would have thanked God for a news program that only wasted two-thirds of my time. But no amount of cuteness is going to make that worth watching in this century.
logis on June 30, 2007 at 11:30 AM
My theory is that Michelle is being ‘conditioned’ for her own show. They’re pushing her to the limit to see if she’ll break. So far, they haven’t even come close. I also get the impression that she’s committed to the ‘New Media’ thing. After all, she practically invented it with Hot Air. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some sort of hybrid involving Fox News, Michelle Malkin and Hot Air. If this isn’t in the works, it should be.
RedWinged Blackbird on June 30, 2007 at 11:57 AM
Ahem…If I were O’Reilly, I would fear that my ‘empire’ was crumbling. Michelle is so much better than that arrogant centrist thug that I wouldn’t be surprised if Michelle gets an offer to have her own show.
Christine on June 30, 2007 at 12:13 PM
And…I love how Michelle had to fend off the lefty idiot the Pellican and that slime-oozing Juan who has dual citizenship. From what I saw she did very well indeed.
I wish I had known that she was going to be on rather than the Leprechan.
Christine on June 30, 2007 at 12:18 PM
Oh, I already knew you were right–I’ve known that was Ellis for a couple of years. The “Yep” was in answer to PBoilermakers’ “Is he really?”, plus it gave me some text to tie the IMDb link to.
ReubenJCogburn on June 30, 2007 at 12:53 PM
Entrance Question: is it bad form to comment on headlines in the open thread that were added after the open thread was opened?
Piffle.
On the issue of the U.S. border fence (I know!) that protrudes “1 to 6 feet” into the sovereign state of Mexico, and will cost “an estimated $2.5 to $3.5 million to remove and replace”, I am thinking (or am I feeling?):
let’s just split the difference and reduce our foreign aid to Mexico by $3 million this year in order to pay for it.
Or, we could determine the value of the land in question — my guess, about $238 — and buy it from them. Aw, hell, give ‘em $1,000 and tell ‘em to keep the change.
Jaibones on June 30, 2007 at 1:28 PM
I wondered who scheduled those 2 with MM…hmmm (BO maybe)? Looking to see her slip or fall ? That was hardly the case…MM was great as usual, has a certain way about her(articulate, intelligent, conservative and good looking).
Henican and Hernando sulking on the outside and crying inside…realizing the senate voted this POS down, some senators that changed and voted no on cloture are up for re-election next yr. Not likely they’ll be changing their votes. The House is even more difficult to get it thru…every 2 yrs they have to sell themselves.
oldernslower on June 30, 2007 at 2:18 PM
Lol Juan sniveled about the Guatemalan people what about what his beloved Mexico dose to the illegals from Guatemala.
Dose anyone know where I can find the whole segment I fell asleep.
Mojack420 on June 30, 2007 at 2:19 PM
Missed this last night, and had to DVR it. Always look forward to MM sitting in. A fresh breath of intelligence on the factor. The only parts that ruined it were the pre-taped parts. So glad for ff. Great job Michelle. Especially in the segmant with Juan and Ellis H. BTW, did anyone notice the huge gulp Hennican took when MM asked him a question regarding shamnesty? Even he couldn’t believe what he was about to say.
PowWow on June 30, 2007 at 3:39 PM
Brits and the Muslim Immigrants and emigrants and the cheap labor for Corporations that want them, does nobody see what is happening. Soon this will be happening in the US where are cheap labor will start blowing shit up. Why do you interview scum like Juan aka (My good friend) and Ellis? By the way what a waste of time it was tuning in to a show where the guest host (Michelle Malkin) is given hardly anytime at all, most of the show was of stuff Bill had already done and talked about.
American8298 on June 30, 2007 at 3:42 PM
LOL, indeed. Hernandez is a cartoonish fool, apparently brought onto Fox so Bill can laugh at him. It is difficult to imagine a worse voice for Hispanic immigrants.
Ellis Pemmican is just a liberal twit.
Jaibones on June 30, 2007 at 3:53 PM
Like the so called bomb expert on Olby he forgot to mention the projectiles that where in the freaking cars! That is just BS this asshole was feeding he audience disinformation, by leaving out that there was nails in the cars that if they had gone off, what would he story be than?
American8298 on June 30, 2007 at 4:09 PM
I’m sure the people on the Factor are quite aware that Michelle can handle anyone they put on and knew that she would be able to hold her own against these two. I think that O’Reilly wants so much to be seen as fair that he doesn’t respond as strongly as Michelle can. It was a good segment.
Rose on June 30, 2007 at 4:41 PM
I didn’t get to watch this until today and I must say MM did very well against two extremely agitating liberals loudmouths.
csdeven on July 1, 2007 at 7:50 PM
Too bad Ellis and Juan weren’t really next to each other, instead of split screen. Then, Michelle could have bumped their heads together like Moe did with Larry and Curly when they were being imbeciles.
Allowing amnesty for those lawbreakers denigrates the efforts of lawful immigrants, plain and simple. It seems that by the electoral analysis of the proponents of shamnesty, the most important issue is the votes of people who are currently illegal, rather than the betterment of our country. Michelle was right on the money with that point.
