I’m not a Marine but I’ve known a few and from what I was told a Marine is always a Marine… there is no such thing as ‘former’ or ‘ex.’ It’s also an insult to call them ’soldiers’ once a Marine they are Marines forever. I guess the old man sure proved that point. Bravo.

This 9-year old boy who engaged in combat with an armed 23-year old man, and won, to save his sister’s life isn’t a marine, but could be.

I’m sure any marine would be happy to buy him a beer or a soda pop or whatever you buy a 9-year old bad-ass.
