But you see, she never claimed to be a party loyalist. As far as I can tell, her loyalty is to truth. Her medium includes hyperbole and non-PC humor. Since anyone who has been aware of her for more than a month is not surprised about this, to my thinking there is no use in acting surprised, or in demanding that she stop.

Very few people out there who claim to have an audience do a better job at pointing out the stupidity, deceit, and anti-Americanism of the left. If she were a man with a late-night talk show on TV, we’d call her Letterman, but that would be an insult to her intellect.

Find one word of hate in her column today. It’s exactly like Bryan’s post here.

And moderates who lean closer to center don’t appreciate many of the innuendos she throws out. IF she were a party loyalist she wouldn’t do this in order to help the party. The fact that she does do it says volumes about priorities.
Could say the same about Michael Moore or Al Franken. They just target a different market segment.

I think with Ann it’s not necessarily the message. It’s the packaging which in the message is delivered . Got to remember liberals don’t comprehend dark satire. Johnny E is an empty suit, plain and simple. His ‘Two Americas’ shtick is so laughable, especially given his penchant for showing everyone how little he REALLY has in common with all the ‘Joe six pack’s out there. Did you happen to hear about his wife’s comments about their neighbor in Orange County, NC? The neighbor, a conservative (or at least a Republican), posted a Giuliani sign facing the Edwards property. Elizabeth Edwards went on and on about how the neighbor was ‘scary’ and how he ‘doesn’t keep up his property’ to her high standards. These are the kind of @$$holes who buy property out in the stix and then proceed to gripe all day long about the neighbors who have lived there for years. The last I heard, the Edwards’ neighbor said how he would probably sell the property because he wouldn’t be able to afford the major bump in the property tax due to Edwards’ McMonstrosity. Two Americas, indeed.

Indeed. And I think most of us possess sufficiently long attention spans to handle a “wall of text”, especially one that mercilessly skewers a contemptibe swine (my apologies to swine) like John Edwards. Give the Breck Girl credit, though–he knows his constituents, because the only people dumb enough not to see through his little fundraising scam are the ones who would support him.

Ann, on the other hand, is great–she speaks the truth unapologetically, often with a twisted sense of humor, and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Naturally that drives liberals absolutely batsh*t crazy–or even more batsh*t crazy, I should say. So they project the hate that they’re filled with onto her. And, as this whole Edwards farce demonstrates, there’s no limit to the amount of lies, distortions, and rank hypocrisy that they’ll resort to in order to attack her. But then they’re liberals–hate, lies, distortions, and rank hypocrisy is all they have.

This was far more despicable than anything Ann Coulter has ever said. Ann is extremely professional, she talks politics and analysis – everything she says in interviews is carefully crafted to illustrate a fundamental political point, archly or humorously. She stays on focus, and sticks to the subject. Mrs. Edwards talks exploitatively. Shame.
Ann hit the bullseye when she loosed the arrow of “infallibility politics.” That’s why there were screams from the Left – it was true, and the Left did not want their little game exposed.
