I love Senator Sessions. All logic, analytical strength, and common sense vs. the emotional clap-trap of the proponents of this bill.

I live in CA, where apparently my Senator (Feinstein) doesn’t belive in free speech or the opinions of her constituents, as she once again made clear on the senate floor. Appalling to hear her comments about how “we don’t understand the bill”……a condescending plutocrat, and a 14 year failure in providing leadership on this issue.

What is the problem with Sessions? I listen to him and he is understandable. It sounds like he has heard what the people are saying. Heard Sen. Voinovich on Hannity’s radio show yesterday. He has no idea what’s in the bill and an amendment that failed he thought had passed. He didn’t know what the Fairness Doctrine was and said he wouldn’t be threatened by the callers to his office. Also, he sounded like a Ted Kennedy clone.

These people are so out of touch with their constituents, it is almost unbelievable.

There has been a number of threads citing the frustrations of Americans regarding their Congressmans’ failure to listen to them concerning the Immigration Bill. And the Fairness Doctrine is likely to be just as contentious.

Suggestions on how to get their attention in Washington have ranged from sending tea bags or lettuce, to withholding taxes, asking for political contributions to be reimbursed, etc.

I have another suggestion. It is completely legal and Constitutional. It’s also Patriotic.

In the interest of personal protection please consider purchasing a rifle. Any legal firearm will do. My suggestion would be an AR-15 Post-Ban semi automatic.

Since the expiration of the Federal AWB in September of 2004, these rifles are now illegal only in certain states. Among them California, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.

Check with gun dealers in your state.

All legal sales of firearms are registered with the Federal Government under FFL.

I believe it would be noted by certain Federal officials if firearms sales were to spike during the current “debate”.

It might even get their attention.

The 2nd Amendment, United States of America,
the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

You know, even if this whole shamnesty bill winds up dying the dusty death it richly deserves, it is still my sincerest hope that we remember the names of each and every RINO senator who pretty much flipped the bird at the people who elected them into office in the first place and went ahead and moved forward with this thing regardless of what the majority of Americans thought of this idiotic bill. Even better, let them all know that, just as the memory of the elephant who symbolizes their party, we too will remember what they did come the next time they are up for re-election. And I am especially directing this to the good people of Mississippi, the majority of which I hope are ready to ride Trent Lott out of town on a rail!

He was driving in the spurs and driving them deep. He wanted to draw blood, and did it.

Southerners have a unique talent for saying something hurtful and making it appear as a ’spur of the moment’ thought. That statement hurt those Senators as he planned.

Ok,
I need someone to explain something to me.

Why is the new Congress so keen on the will of the American people on getting out of Irag, BUT when it comes to Immigration they lay a big steamer on the will of the American people?

I think that someone need to tell these folk that they are PUBLIC SERVENTS. They serve the people not the other way around. They work for us, we do not work for them. I think that is there mentality and that needs to be adjusted
