The MSM should have gone ahead and put all of there attention on Miss. Paris does not look as good without the makeup and hair extension Hilton. This would have been better news than what the Senate did today.

Is it normal procedure that inmates are released at 12:01 AM on their release date?

Is it more likely that when average Joe Inmate’s release date arrives they start processing the paperwork sometime after 8 or 9AM when the office shift shows up to work, then if average Joe is lucky they cut him loose some time that afternoon?

Am I cynical to suspect there must have been some degree of “special” treatment involved for Paris to have had her paperwork done and be out the door just one minute into the final day of her sentence?

It’s nice to be back….I think. My winter nap is over(thanks to Gorebal Warming)….and I see the spoiled brats are still in charge of our government. But seeing that the lovely and brilliant, and multi-talented, Paris is now free gives me new hope. The wild orgy that was the media coverage of Anna Nicole Smith and Paris-ite Hilton has led me to some numbing realities about our nation. You can tax us into poverty and economic oblivion. You can allow a foreign invasion in the form of illegal immigration. You can say that the war on terror is a “bumper-sticker”. You can waste every damn dollar you take from us. You can slowly but surely take our right to bear arms(or arm bears). You can do all of this and more, with but a whimper from some of us…hardly a peep. But the blood-shed that would ensue if a Fed showed up at our doors to confiscate our universal remote controls….it would make Iraq look like a pajama party. Yeah, we may not be able to point out Afghanistan on a map, but we know who the American Idol is. We may not know who the mayor of our town is but we know who is left on dancing with the stars…

I don’t know why I bothered to wake up…..

So last night I finished watching Redeye. Then breaking news on Fox. I watched the strut from the door, the Escalade Parade for about 45 minutes. Then I felt very ashamed. Turned off the TV. Insomnia didn’t go away, but refused to tune back in.

Paris has been liberated! Have there ever been more happier words? Now we don’t need to storm the Century Regional Detention Facility like the French stormed the Bastille to free the prisoners of an unjust regime! Paris is free! And really, in a larger sense, doesn’t that make us all freer?
