Rosie’s readers filled with heart-ache at photo of daughter wearing bullets

I’ve had five different people send me this since it hit Drudge, so identified has our site become with all things Ro. Which means the amnesty vote is only the second-most depressing thing to happen today.

Clearly she’s making a profound point about what happens when western imperialists try to impose their values on the noble jihadist savage, who only wants to live in peace and occasionally stone women to death. Sure, the Taliban straps bombs on six-year-olds. But only because they have to.

Those bullets represent your shame, wingnuts.

How whacked out is that child going to be when she hits her teenage years?

Something tells me the damage is done.

thedecider on June 26, 2007 at 5:08 PM

Hey it is Rosie’s side that uses six year old suicide bombers. Is it not?

TheSitRep on June 26, 2007 at 5:08 PM

Exploiting her child for publicity – disgusting.

Ann on June 26, 2007 at 5:08 PM

I’m not upset because they might be playing Army with the boys.

I’m just thinkng of the hypocritical stance that she has with gun control (See Tom Selleck attack).

Rosie O’Donnell is Crazy…whoops…I guess everyone knew that already…;-)

Nah… she finaly read up a bit on Islam, and realized they would STONE her to death for her “life choices”…

Result? get the kids trained?

Nice Camo too….

Romeo13 on June 26, 2007 at 5:14 PM

She sells t-shirts where “100% of the profits goes to help kids”.

The question is: Help kids to do what?

Seems to me one they are being provided training to carry ammo through check points.

Zaire67 on June 26, 2007 at 5:16 PM

Anyone know exactly at what point in time people in the mainstream media are going to finally stop paying attention to what this fat loud-mouthed idiot says or does? You want her to go away into obscurity for good? Stop putting her in the blasted limelight!

pilamaye on June 26, 2007 at 5:16 PM

Bullets for burqas or burqas for bullets?

Kini on June 26, 2007 at 5:17 PM

You can just see the pain in that child’s eyes. She just realized how screwed she is is by having a psycho as a “mother”.

Zaire67 on June 26, 2007 at 5:18 PM

So.. there’s hope for Viv. A girl with a bandolieer. She can play with guns but just don’t let mom catch her playing with boys.

Mojave Mark on June 26, 2007 at 5:18 PM

Okay, I don’t usually give a rat’s patootie about Rosie, but this one made me laugh out loud! The comments from her readers are priceless! They react in a way that is completely the opposite of what logic would dictate. Shouldn’t the image of an innocent child brainwashed into wearing bullets and embracing jihad make them want to fight as hard as possible against the monsters who do this for real?! Instead, they are clearly offended by the image as is the intention, but they direct their desire to fight against such barbarity to….the ones actually fighting the barbarians. WTF?!

aero on June 26, 2007 at 5:18 PM

I guess we can allow dikes to have children if they are gonna produce a generation of GI Janes

libertytexan on June 26, 2007 at 5:19 PM

My eyes would bleed if I had to read the consistent drivel written by Rosie or the people on her blog. Did these people completely fail their elementary grammar courses?

Oh, and check this nonsense out:

jennifer clark
wow Ro that photo of Vivi with the bullets made me cry-it’s scary to think that there are precious little ones really walking around like that in our world “for real”. Come on people! Help our babies

Ironic. Since Rosie and her fans don’t really want us waging war against the type of people *coughmuslimscough* who use children as bombs.

Vyce on June 26, 2007 at 5:23 PM

OMG, that picture is so full of expression! I can’t stop crying. Thank you Rosie for posting that, it really opens my eyes as to how awful this war is! /RosieFanOFF

Someone has to act like a DAD in that woeful threesome.

Poor kid. The only fact in her favor is she doesn’t actually have any Rosie DNA.

Mrs. Happy Housewife on June 26, 2007 at 5:38 PM

Stupid kid, everyone knows you wear a bandlier with the points away from your neck.
Must be rosie’s daughter, no one else is that stupid.

1sttofight on June 26, 2007 at 5:39 PM

well it looks like we will have a new blond haired, blue eyed stripper in the future.

or maybe just another paris hilton, the freebee stripper type.

doggod on June 26, 2007 at 5:41 PM

Ha ha ha! She looks like a little Vanessa Redgrave dancing around with the PLO.

Blake on June 26, 2007 at 5:43 PM

In that image I think Rosie just made the best argument in favor of the war.

Rosie says it’s art. Let’s take her at her word. Bahahahaha. Okay I tried. This nutjob just gets further out with each passing day. But a network is going to pay her tons of money. Something is wrong with more than this picture. And BTW, where is her “wife” while all this is going on?

PowWow on June 26, 2007 at 5:48 PM

doggod on June 26, 2007 at 5:41 PM

Really? After that kind of exploitation/abuse, I’d wager we end up with a new blond haired, blue eyed republican.

Tanya on June 26, 2007 at 5:48 PM

This young girl needs to be taken away from the environment she is being subjected to. She does not need 2 mothers, just a sane one and a father.

Wade on June 26, 2007 at 5:54 PM

Funny. I stared and stared at that kid, and for the life of me I couldn’t find any resemblance whatsoever to Rosie*–I mean none–zip, zilch, zero, nada, gornisht! Do you think the old lady was maybe been getting too friendly with the mailman?

*She’s a cute kid, for one thing.

smellthecoffee on June 26, 2007 at 5:55 PM

You have to be 6 to wear C4.

On-my-soap-box on June 26, 2007 at 5:57 PM

Great, she is raising a walking billboard.

But a leash on the kid, give Rosie an organ (ha, a joke I didn’t mean), give the kid a tin cup.

That is what the poor child is, a pet to help make a few bucks.

right2bright on June 26, 2007 at 5:59 PM

Deadest eyes I’ve seen on a kid outside of a cult.

Or does Rosie qualify, by tonnage?

profitsbeard on June 26, 2007 at 6:03 PM

Hmmm…is Rosie Sunni or Shia?

silenced majority on June 26, 2007 at 6:28 PM

Wade, you’re dead on. Where is DFAC’s or the adoption agency that screwed up in the first place and let this loser “family” get this child in the first place. I got news for everyone, if it were some nobody like myself or most of us here that posted a picture of a child in that context, we’d be taking a ride in a car to do some explaining to the local government agencies. Most celebs try to keep their kids out of the limelight for obvious reasons. The fact that she’s thrown her’s into the fold to make a political statement goes to show just how mentally ill this women (and her liberal followers) are. Losers, every last one of them.

rayvet on June 26, 2007 at 6:29 PM

Good thing for Ro that her fans are in no ways logical, or they might actually realize she is making a point for the “wrong” side.

Gotta feel bad for her poor daughter. Can you imagine having a psycho like Rosie for a mom??? Yikes!

mica_ar on June 26, 2007 at 6:31 PM

I guess I’m totally missing the point of this whole thing–just don’t get it.

All broken up about that, too.

Bob's Kid on June 26, 2007 at 6:31 PM

I guess this is the “sympathize with the terrorists” look. Dress your kid up like this and you make it big in Hollywood. I mean, she does want her and her ilk to fit in with the rest of them… teaching your children this is the way any young child should behave is natural of course… next you’ll see her sporting a bomb vest and burka…. /end sarcasm

ThinkingForMyself on June 26, 2007 at 6:34 PM

rayvet on June 26, 2007 at 6:29 PM

Really? Cuz I got pics of my son dressed for total war. Guess I better lock him back in the basement.

Actually, my son is looking over my shoulder and wants a bandolier now.

SouthernDem on June 26, 2007 at 6:54 PM

Rosie O’Doughnut shouldn’t be allowed to adopt kids.I bet she is secretly funding the terrorists in Iraq.

Johnny Bananas on June 26, 2007 at 7:06 PM

No wire hangers, ever!

imshocked on June 26, 2007 at 7:14 PM

SouthernDem…

Theres a difference in my opinion though. Rosie is all about the US being terrorists, but looks the other way when the real terrorists are donning their kids in real weapons… Think about it… she is so against us being in this war and the conspiracy theories, but then dresses her kid up in war gear… total hypocrite err liberal

ThinkingForMyself on June 26, 2007 at 7:20 PM

Jaibones on June 26, 2007 at 7:30 PM

Are we really surprised. She will exploit anything for publicity. Her sexuality, her stupidity, even her “children”. Pathetic to see her treating a child as a prop.

Feminazi jihadi !

km on June 26, 2007 at 8:09 PM

If any of us regular, common folk did this and our kid’s school found out, the principal would be calling child-protection agencies. I wonder if investigators in Rosie’s state will be paying a visit.

Yeah, I know–a vain hope.

Liam on June 26, 2007 at 8:10 PM

Kelli,(Rosie’s partner) give Rosie a few beers until she passes out and take thoses kids and run for your lives.

kathleen on June 26, 2007 at 8:13 PM

First of all this is not Rosie’s daughter. This child was placed there by some numbskulls that thought this couple would be good parents and raise her well. So, where are the child police now that this nut job has spilled over to corrupt this child? The child should be taken away from her ASAP and she should not have another shot at spoiling another one.

Ummm, I don’t really know what to do with that. It’s disturbing and sick. Why would she do that? Why?

I do hope Child Protective Services will look seriously at this woman and her ability to care for a child. This isn’t even approaching “normal.”

And, we’re not in Gaza. It’s sad there (but kind of predictable, considering who’s in “charge” there), but this is America. We don’t go in for that kind of crap.

mjk on June 26, 2007 at 9:40 PM

ThinkingForMyself on June 26, 2007 at 7:20 PM

There is, but that’s not what I’m mocking. I’m mocking the idea that she should be removed from her care for it. True, Rosie is an idiot liberal wackjob, but she probably takes great care of her kids.

SouthernDem on June 26, 2007 at 10:21 PM

We don’t go in for that kind of crap.
mjk on June 26, 2007 at 9:40 PM

That’s what I mean. So you should take my kid away from my care for playing war. I’ve got pics of him in full camo, makeup and all, with a pretend rifle. Hell, I’ve got pics of him firing a .22.
The problem is, you sound kind of like a liberal, calling for the CPS.

SouthernDem on June 26, 2007 at 10:25 PM

What idiots

Jessi
My god…. that picture. I can’t stop crying. This war is such bullshit.

Uh.. what does the large lunatic, dressing her daughter up in bullets have to do with this war? Perhaps Rosie’s fans should look at a bit of Memri TV, and see which side is arming and indoctrinating children for terror. F-ing idiots.

RightWinged on June 26, 2007 at 11:08 PM

I laughed when I went to the site and read the comments from her posters. Judging from how they express themselves, I would venture to guess they’re the ones keeping “Depends” in business…

D2Boston on June 26, 2007 at 11:17 PM

Rosie gets a bad wrap.

A double steak and cheese with s’mores sauce wrap from Taco Bell…. and Diet Pepsi thank you very much.

VolMagic on June 26, 2007 at 11:23 PM

The problem is, you sound kind of like a liberal, calling for the CPS.

SouthernDem on June 26, 2007 at 10:25 PM

NO, sweetie, I sound like a nurse who has seen too much. I don’t have a problem with people teaching their kids responsible gun business (which I’m sure you do), but do you really really think Rosie’s doing that?? I see it more as a unconscious copy of what goes on in the Middle East and thinking “Oh, this is a good way to get my message across.” However, having your kid pose with a bandolier causes me to think about terrorism, not how war is so bad, blah, blah, blah. Of course, I’ve been to Israel several times so maybe I’m seeing this from a completely different angle than other people.

Of course, I usually overanalyze things like this and maybe the best solution is “Celebrities are stupid.” And I’ll leave it at that.

mjk on June 26, 2007 at 11:34 PM

And yes, if they have someone go in cause Britney Spears can’t keep her kid in a high chair, they definitely should demand an explanation for splashing a picture like THAT on the Internet.

mjk on June 26, 2007 at 11:35 PM

mjk on June 26, 2007 at 11:35 PM

Fair enough, but there isn’t any evidence of abuse here. Just Rosie’s simplistic ideal of symbolism.

SouthernDem on June 27, 2007 at 1:02 AM

This woman is offensive, from her inability to spell words out and write complete, coherent sentences, to her incredibly vulgar self. I feel more sorry if her kids aren’t being raised to think for themselves. Ugh!

As for the picture, the only thing missing was the Mao bag.

yggdrasil on June 27, 2007 at 5:19 AM

I’m not nearly as concerned about the bandolier, as I am the fact that she’s using this child as a political tool, and that in her eyes, that’s probably all the kid is good to her for.

Tom Doniphon on June 27, 2007 at 8:12 AM

silenced majority on June 26, 2007 at 6:28 PM

Deadest eyes I’ve seen on a kid outside of a cult.

profitsbeard on June 26, 2007 at 6:03 PM

Exactly what I said when I saw the girl’s picture on TV this morning.

It may be that Rosie is doing the typical “destroy gender barriers RAWR” thing that her ilk do. I’ll bet she has pictures of her adopted son (Parker?) dressed in girly clothes playing with dolls, probably with that same dead eye look.

Rosie has the dead eyes too. Ever watch her eyes when she laughs? No joy, no life in them whatsoever. Just cold, serious hate.

angryoldfatman on June 27, 2007 at 10:12 AM

I kind of like the picture. If, in fact, the child did pick it our herself from some online store, perhaps there’s hope that the chickens will come home to roost! Or maybe Chubbsie should have screened the biological parents better! Hummmmm!!!!

Dread Pirate Roberts VI on June 27, 2007 at 11:08 AM

This is her comment on The Showbuzz “”They don’t watch TV — this is how they play/the boys had fatigues and were playing war/the girls wanted some/they run around the house with water guns/shooting each other,”

How does a child know how to “play war” if they never watch TV or are subjected to it in some manner, unless they see it “performed” someplace? Is she saying then that humans have a natural instinct to know war?

In my opinion, since they never watch TV, implying that they aren’t exposed to war or such, then they had to learn it from somewhere, perhaps from RO and her partner, and perhaps they did this as someone mentioned, as a political ploy knowing that many would react to it… where she would have an excuse to throw in her political statement about how this picture got such a reaction and the deaths/injuries of our troops don’t receive such reaction.

And SouthernDem, you are right there is no abuse here per se, but would a good parent subject their child to the ridicule that this so called good parent did?

ThinkingForMyself on June 27, 2007 at 11:47 AM

“It’s fascinating to me/that an image of a child dressed up as a soldier/evokes so much attention/yet the real soldiers – their deaths – their wounded bodies/doesn’t seem to faze most/or make news,” she wrote.

Is she really that stupid? Ignorant? Left? The ONLY news is death, no good news like scores of schools and water and electricity for the Iraqi’s, just bad news.
And many of the muslim children in the ME? Wearing REAL ammo carrying REAL AK’s singing DEATH to AMERICA. They’re on the same ‘page’ now. Rosie has put her daughter on that ‘page’…the terrorist jihadist learning page.
