Our second attack ad in as many days. As Ace might say, we’re slicin’ like a hammer. If that’s a good thing.
Teddy Kennedy sings a love song in Spanish. Waffly Republicans swoon. A negative ad is, er, born.

That’s not a picture of Kit Bond, is it? That looks like Inhoff (sp?) to me.

When Bryan f*cking moves, he slices like a f*cking hammer!
Nice ad!

For those that have no clue what Bryan and I are talking about, Paul Anka went apesh!t crazy on his crew over a mediocre performance by his band and ripped them to shreds. Here is the audio of it with a Strong Language Warning
It has since been a looooong running joke at Ace’s with both Ace and commenters.

Keep pounding Hot Air, keep pounding!!!
Well done!

As much liquor as Fat Ted has drunk over the course of his like you’d think his liver would have quit 20 years ago.

“As much liquor as Fat Ted has drunk over the course of his like you’d think his liver would have quit 20 years ago.”
As Del Preston would say, Ted’s liver cannot be killed with conventional weapons. (Or conventional Scotch, for that matter.)

Ain’t this ironic! Fat Boy got kicked out of Harvard for cheating, specifically for paying someone to take his Spanish test for him. Oh, the

Teddy needs a new beer drinkin’ song. That one sucks.

Just made a BLT and I sliced the tomato with a hammer.
My wife is pissed! Told me I had to clean up the mess and if I did not like…….too bad.
That’s just the f%&#in way it is around here.
Teddy sounds GREAT!!!

Heh… He’s still alive?
oneandlonelyme on June 25, 2007 at 11:35 PM
Shouldn’t he be singing “Old Man River”?
andycanuck on June 25, 2007 at 11:40 PM
Bryan,
Silenced Majority is correct, your ad features a photo of Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) in the spot you have captioned for Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO).
Otherwise, it’s a great ad.
Jack M. on June 25, 2007 at 11:47 PM
He’s fixing it right now.
Michelle on June 25, 2007 at 11:49 PM
It’s Bond now. Kit Bond.
Bryan on June 25, 2007 at 11:53 PM
You can’t make this stuff up.
If anyone told me that an elected official who is, in theory, supposed to be working for my benefit (cue laugh track) would do this……..I’d think they were from another planet.
This is just one more example that the Lefty leadership has gone completely off the deep end, to the point that they are ridiculous caricatures. This is a complete joke. If only it were funny.
Michelle indeed picked an apt title with “Unhinged”.
I can only imagine, and shudder, at what our Founding Fathers would think, to see things as they are now.
A disgrace.
Hawkins1701 on June 25, 2007 at 11:56 PM
I question the timing.
csdeven on June 25, 2007 at 11:58 PM
Nope. The song still sucks. So does Tenator Sennady telling them “we’re not going to let you down, my friend”. Of course not. Plenty of tax-paying Americans just like me stand ready to work as many hours as it takes to buy every last illegal immigrant a ticket on the gravy train.
thedecider on June 25, 2007 at 11:59 PM
slice like a ninja, Cut like a razor blade
so fast, Other DJs say, “man”
If my rhyme was a food, I’d sell it by the can
Keep my composure when it’s time to get loose
Magnetized by the mic while I kick my juice
If there was a problem, Yo - I’ll solve it!
Check out the hook while Bryan revolves it!
It was his only good song, I know, but it moved me as a young man…much as Bryan moves me with his ads now. I feel no shame in putting you in such august company Bryan. :D
austinnelly on June 26, 2007 at 12:11 AM
No matter how much I dislike the Kennedy’s I no he did not do this, this would be very disconcerting if the prick did, there is a lot of scum in office right now that need to be fired and Teddy is at the top of the list.
American8298 on June 26, 2007 at 12:30 AM
I sent Bryan my idea. Hopefully he can work with it.
Didja get it Bryan?
Bad Candy on June 26, 2007 at 12:34 AM
Chappaquiddick Sleazebag. Splish Splash would have been a better choice. Although, that beautiful tenor of his does seem to diminish the pain. Guess I’ll vote for him again.
timwashu on June 26, 2007 at 12:35 AM
It did. He continues on his spleen.

What was the last song Ted recorded? Ode to Mary Jo… something like that. Gerat job on the video
PowWow on June 26, 2007 at 12:44 AM
gerat =great

Teddy like Jorge believes in remanifest destiny.
And both of them also believe that their families will never sink to the level of the masses anyway so why not.
Speakup on June 26, 2007 at 12:58 AM
That guy would Flaminco with flamingos if he thought it would help suppress the blog flow about Mary Jo… Why is this creepy character still able to crawl out of the bottle, climb onto stumps and croon his way into public office…?
Oh…, The Democratic People’s Republic of Boston and Liberals en MASSe. Never mind. *rolling eyes*
Rugged Individual on June 26, 2007 at 1:02 AM
All these politicians are just making me sick. I’d really like to know what the real story is. I mean it must be really good for them to defy 80% of Americans to push ahead with something that we dont’ want. So what is it????
CCRWM on June 26, 2007 at 1:03 AM
I posted this on the immigration subject also:
Okay suppose the real people who are running this country win the cloture vote thing tomorrow and we all pretty much know that means the bill passes. What are we going to do? How are we going to get the 80% of Americans who hate this bill united to oust these senators? It’s obvious that our government is not by the people for the people anymore. We have to so something to show them it isn’t just us bloggers and talk radio who are mad. How do we start the revolution? I’ll do my part.
What the f**K is this now?
White House prepared to open U.S. air routes to Canada, Mexico
An author and investigative journalist says the Bush administration is working on a plan that would essentially erase national borders for air carriers, perhaps paving the way for Mexican and Canadian airlines to compete with U.S. carriers for American domestic and international routes.

Listening to Ted Kennedy sing anythingis an exercise in masochism.
Bigfoot on June 26, 2007 at 8:24 AM
Maybe Admiral Kennedy can get a new job as a life guard on the Rio Grande or better yet as a substitute for Charon on the river Acheron (Styx in Dante’s Divine Comedy). He could then ferry his bill to hell.
Annar on June 26, 2007 at 8:24 AM
There oughta be a national campaign against every lame-brain in the house and senate who supported this tripe.
stringbean on June 26, 2007 at 9:14 AM
Notice how Teddy THANKED the program host for his heart and soul, and that Teddy told him…
“WE WON’T LET YOU DOWN, MY FRIEND.”
But, it’s OK to let the American people down, right Teddy boy?
BTW-Teddy, did you sign up for REMEDIAL drivers’ education yet?

Was that Mel Blank praising Titanic Kennedy’s great singing ability?
Sensei Ern on June 26, 2007 at 9:27 AM
He thanked him for his soul first, then he realized his slip and thanked him for his heart as well. Meaning, once shamnesty passes, your soul (and your vote) belongs to the Party.

This buffoon is either a justification for term-limits, or for the disenfranchisement of the State of Massachusetts - or both.
OhEssYouCowboys on June 26, 2007 at 4:57 PM
P.S. Do y’all think that the Hollywood Bowl can book the Buffoon and Jerry Rivera … Concert for the Undocumented Americans?
OhEssYouCowboys on June 26, 2007 at 5:05 PM
What is it with the celebrity culture in America these days?
Senator Kennedy is a US Senator from, well, the Kennedys. THE Kennedys. And he sings like an American Idol auditionist who has no clue that he’s lousy at it. Instead of giving him the “Simon LOOK” of you-are- the-most-talentless-turd-whose-had-the-nerve-to-present-himself-on-the-stage-this-whole-year, the host flatters Kennedy - and Kennedy soaks it up, delighted.
Apart from the ridiculousness of the political aspects of this, it’s the queer devaluing of real work and the overvaluing of show business that makes this so bizarre. Isn’t entertainment supposed to give people a diversion for a little while? Why does “famous” trump acomplishment in a hundred other fields of endeavor that produce concrete results? How about Clinton starring with huge self-awareness in campaign commercials? Running down backstage hallways like a rock star?
Suppose it’s better than the Senate inviting actresses who played farmers to testify about farm foreclosures rather than asking actual farmers.
