We’ve gotten a spike in e-mails lately asking about registration and now MM is getting pestered at her site about it, so we bow to demand. The window is open; click to read our terms of use and then click to sign up. Would-be trolls are respectfully requested not to waste our time or their own.

Feel free to use this as an open thread for headlines or the topic of your choice. For suggested reading material, here’s your op-ed of the day.

Wanna hear something cool? I met the grandson of THE Jimmy Doolittle, he’s a pilot of course, a First Officer, and he works for the same airline as me. But wait, it gets even better … the day I met him, he was flying with a Captain named (I kid you not) Billy Mitchell! And HE is the *great* grandson of THE Billy Mitchell! When I told the passangers this, they just looked at me with blank faces, blinked a few times, and went back to reading their People Magazines.

Go Fred! Forget AlGore ever lived in Tennessee! I had a bumper sticker for the 2000 election that read ‘Gore-Free Tennessee’. We certainly saved the rest of the country from Al then; Bob Corker was one of the few Republican winners in 2006; now, with Fred, Tennessee will finish the hat trick!

Dude, that’s like telling a girl in a bar that you’re a nice guy…you shouldn’t have to, and if you do, they know you’re lying.

Insulting a candidate is fine; it’s just that his criticisms of Fred have a pathetic, frantic… almost gibbering quality to them. I wouldn’t call him a troll because that would be insulting to people that are actually good at it.
