A thousand bucks a day, or $13,000 to own free and clear. (Can that be right?) Combine this with the proletarian dronebot and in 30 years you’re looking at profit margins big enough to fly a jet through and an unemployment rate of about 85%. And of course, the 15% who do have jobs will be working entirely with their minds.
On the other hand, imagine how rad those 15th generation iPhones will be.

Probably, but the missing zero is on the yen side. The conversion between the stated price in yen and the price in dollars is correct.

Actually, it will be the Mexican government buying them all to replace their population.

Since they don’t eat and don’t require shelter (they can just stay at their work desk 24/7) think how much money they will be able to wire home to Japan.

The next step is outsourcing receptionist work to robots telecommuting from Tokyo.
Sure, you laugh now.

I never thought I’d live to see Vonnegut’s “Player Piano” become a reality. What is up with the Japanese fetish for all things robotic?

Just dress it up with an I-phone.

Nah, this is the model wives will buy to accompany their husbands on business trips to keep them out of trouble.

All I need to know is: do they flirt, and can I have sex with it?
