I haven’t looked over the list closely enough to determine who else is missing, but three people have been omitted from this roll-call… nefarious theories for occuring on this particular bill aside, how often does this happen?

For one Queen Nancy, despite her delusions of power, was not elected by the people of the United States. Just the people of Moonbatistan San Francisco.

Second, It is the Bush’es job to conduct foreign policy. He actually was elected by the people of the United States. He and his representatives (i.e. the white house) are specifically empowered by the U.S. Constitution to conduct foreign policy – something congress does not have the power to do – it is not part of the Speakers job – Nadeam knows this he is deliberately lying.

Third, Queen Nancy was not empowered to go on a diplomatic mission on behalf of the U.S. Government. That she did so was a blatant violation of the Logan act and perhaps even an act of Treason for which she could possibly be executed (as in killed dead).

Forrth, Queen Nancy then went ahead and misrepresented Israel to Syria – a fact that both Isreal and Syria both acknowledge. She was not empowered to speak for Israel either. In other words she f-ked it up!

Who is this Nadeam Elshami to complain that the Speaker of the House should not be held to the job boundries as defined by the Constitution? One would expects that a person of the stature in Washington politics to be a spokesman for the Speaker of the House, would be familiar with the law.

The law is irrelevant. The laws only apply to Republicans–especially conservative ones; Democrats (and other liberals) can make their own rules and change them on a whim. This is why they call the Constitution a “living document.” Simply ignore whatever you don’t like, and make up “rights” that don’t exist (such as the “right” of “privacy” when holding secret committee meetings drafting new immigration legislation, or the “right” to keep stolen cash in your freezer).

Just like the right to free speech: “Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…” only applies to Liberal media outlets.

Must be something about the name “King.”

Pete King (R-NY) is going to be introducing a bill in the House that separates border enforcement from the rest of the immigration bill nonsense. Maybe there is hope for the Republicans yet.

As a member of the House, the Speaker is entitled to participate in debate and to vote. By custom, however, he or she does so only in exceptional circumstances. Normally, the Speaker votes only when his or her vote would be decisive, and on matters of great importance (such as constitutional amendments).
