Haven’t watched it myself yet but the buzz is strong enough to warrant a blind post. The Jedi Master himself does some voiceover work here. As does Mark Hamill. Oh, and Hulk Hogan, naturally. Click the image to watch.

ITS A TRAP! HAHAHAA! The Akbar bit is great! Thanks for linking this, I wanted to see it.

Saw this last night and just about pissed myself.
Robot Chicken is now a must on my DVR.
So my wife thinks I like to play with dolls, so what.
Kini on June 20, 2007 at 1:16 AM
Oh my, I just sat through the whole thing…that was so wrong! Too much! Thanks Allah.

What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?!
Oh, geez, he’s crying.
Mindcrime on June 20, 2007 at 1:38 AM
The Conan Bit with the Gand is great.
Bad Candy on June 20, 2007 at 1:40 AM
I saw Seth Green on Conan the other night. He said Ahmed Best or whatever, i.e. the dude who actually played Jar Jar in episode 1, actually does the voice for this one. That guy has a great attitude about what he did.

Thanks for sharing, AP. It started at 90 to 95 percent awesome, then trailed off from there. I didn’t spot Hulk Hogan’s voice. Which was he?
Kevin on June 20, 2007 at 1:48 AM
I say this with the utmost respect and admiration.
You are a nerd. I see how you tried to play off of the “Haven’t watched it myself yet but…” but I know you and your type.
I don’t know how to translate that into Ewok so you’ll understand, so I’ll just hope you’re bilingual.
StoutRepublican on June 20, 2007 at 1:55 AM
Goodness, that was way awesome… Even the George W. bit was funny…
rightg33k on June 20, 2007 at 1:56 AM
It’s time for some “It’s a Trap!” photoshops around here. I don’t care if explanations accompany; as conservatives, it’s important we acknowledge our heritage.

How do you tell the difference between the left and right wing: the right wing is humor enabled… :-)
rightg33k on June 20, 2007 at 2:11 AM
Continues to be as awesome as it were last night. An excellant hommage :)
You’d think Star Wars parody would be old hat by now, but these guys show that even a dead horse, if properly beaten, can produce yummy yummy candy.
askheaves on June 20, 2007 at 2:31 AM
Some of those clips have been around a little while, but they’re still damn funny. Robot Chicken is f’n hilarious.
ReubenJCogburn on June 20, 2007 at 4:01 AM
Hulk Hogan was Abraham Lincoln.
As it could be othewrwise.

I hate it when somebody disturbs me when I dropping the kids off at the pool.
csdeven on June 20, 2007 at 8:29 AM
That was my favorite. I’ve seen some of the other ones before, but the new bits were genius.
So no complaints about the Bush bits?
SouthernDem on June 20, 2007 at 8:36 AM
It had some brilliant moments that made me laugh out loud. The Bush digs were inevitable considering how pretty much every episode takes a drive by swipe at him anyway. I’m kind of surprised there wasn’t more Cheney=Vader action…
Great episode. There’s a lot of red meat left to explore in the Star Wars universe -maybe there will be sequels. (They said they got the blessing of Lucas to do it, so there could be more.)

My worldview is shattered. I just found out an old buddy is going back to school to study animation, and when I told him I love the Aqua Teens, he replied that Robot Chicken was the show to watch, and Aqua Teens suck!
Can this be true? Can I get some love for Frylock? Carl?
Robot Chicken never shut down Boston.

The 2nd sketch is the best!
WHAT’S AN ALUMINUM FALCON?!?
budorob on June 20, 2007 at 10:12 AM
Okay..from a female…
I LOVE Seth Green. And this was hilarious.
tickleddragon on June 20, 2007 at 10:23 AM
Why bother? The Bush parts were seriously mild. I’d pick at it, mostly that WMDs were found, but overall it’s still funny, so it’s no big deal.
Esthier on June 20, 2007 at 12:43 PM
Oh man….now *that* is funny stuff.
The Ugly American on June 20, 2007 at 2:45 PM
I’m one of those “what’s-with-this-whole-stupid-star-wars-thing?” people. Two decent movies out of six? No thanks. That was pure genius. In a galaxy not far enough away…I LOVED THAT! The wife and I were at Walt Disney World a few weeks back and every June, MGM hosts “Star Wars Weekends.” I just walked around and giggled at all the morons wearing Chewbacca suits in 95 degree weather. Throw in a score of pimply-faced Han Solo’s, really ugly Princess Leia’s and a gaggle of sweaty Darth Mauls, and you have the makings for a wonderfully awesome time laughing at idiots.

one of the best cartoons to come out this year.
I had to record it on my PC. now i just leave it running all day in my cube at work.
