Oh, look — the “Jew Watch” cretin’s cracked YouTube’s top rated videos

posted at 11:01 am on June 20, 2007 by Allahpundit

I’ve written two posts about it, I’ve had HA readers flag the videos as inappropriate in hopes of getting YouTube’s attention, and yet this worm crawls on. He’s approaching 100 videos now. There’s no way YT management doesn’t know. Clearly they’ve made a decision to let him continue.

Judging by the number of views he gets, I can see why. He’s a pretty popular guy over there.

Here’s the page of top-rated videos as it stood half an hour ago to memorialize their shame.

I will never for the life of me understand the rampant hatred of all things Jewish, much less the lunatic fringe on the left who, while perhaps not frothing at the mouth like this guy, more or less tolerate such bigotry (and secretly agree with much of his nutter screed).

Mindcrime on June 20, 2007 at 11:10 AM

The unholy trinity of anti-Westernism: YouTube, Google, Wikipedia.

Niko on June 20, 2007 at 11:22 AM

How does this play into “the Jews Control the Media” meme?

(I was told to ask this by my Zionist masters.)

profitsbeard on June 20, 2007 at 11:22 AM

So, YouTube’s founders and much of its management clearly have no problem with the persecution of Jews. Why should we expect them to be any more sophisticated than the UK Guardian, the BBC, AP or any of a dozen other information/media companies.

It’s like expecting Rosie to consider the engineering issues involved in the WTC attacks, or Silky Pony suddenly rethinking his willingness to say anything, absolutely anything to get elected.

Ain’t gonna happen.

doufree on June 20, 2007 at 11:25 AM

Allah, why are you so upset?

Google (or YouTube) are merely giving this guy the same platform that they are giving everyone else?

It’s called freedom of speech, and this moron is excising it.

I’ve seen many anti-Muslim video’s on YouTube, and the only time I’ve seen Google pull those is when they use copyrighted material (as in the case with this video using music by Warnerbros without permission).

As long as you have a rant about life/politics/religion and do not use copyrighted material, Google doesn’t even bother with the video.

Although I loath anti-semitism (I have long before I became a Christian mainly because I had Jewish friends) I would rather this guys stupidity be aired along with everyone else’s common sense than have Google begin enforcing “hate crime laws” across cyberspace.

Darnell Clayton on June 20, 2007 at 11:32 AM

this guy would be put to jail in Europe (and rightly so).

AlexB on June 20, 2007 at 11:36 AM

Crazy. And MM gets blocked for putting up anti-jihad videos. If this isn’t bias, what is?

Who owns YouTube anyway?

“Do no evil.” Riiiiight.

They should change that for the sake of being honest.

“Do no evil directly, but enable it and make sure it’s highly visible?”

“Screw memorial day! Let’s air beheadings!”

I can think of thousands that are more appropriate.

Let’s hear yours!

It’s called freedom of speech, and this moron is excising it.

Must we have this argument every time I link to this turd?

“Freedom of speech” doesn’t entitle you to use someone else’s business as your platform. If you say something offensive here, I get to ban you notwithstanding your freedom of speech. Why? Because I have freedom of speech too, and I don’t want my enterprise being used to disseminate your ideas. Your freedom of speech entitles you to set up your own blog, open your own video service, publish your own newsletter, stand on your own street corner. It doesn’t entitle you to use YouTube — which, I hasten to remind you, we were reminded of last year when they banned one of our videos. They have every right to do so, but I do find it rather nuanced that they object to our material but not, say, a neo-Nazi’s.

Allahpundit on June 20, 2007 at 11:37 AM

I’ve seen many anti-Muslim video’s on YouTube, and the only time I’ve seen Google pull those is when they use copyrighted material (as in the case with this video using music by Warnerbros without permission).

Allah has shown time and again where anti-terrorist (not anti-Muslim) videos have been banned and called racist. Hot Air and Michelle Malkin have had videos banned for the same reason, though everyone here would argue that they had nothing to do with racism.

And as Allah has already pointed out, freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can use someone else’s forum to speak. It only means you can legally say what you want.

Esthier on June 20, 2007 at 11:42 AM

What you said and Freedom of Speech ONLY PROTECTS THE INDIVIDUAL FROM THE GOVERNMENT. Jeez. When will people learn the First Amendment.

Esthier on June 20, 2007 at 11:42 AM

Right. And in light of this the disturbing thing is, leaving these vids up isn’t free speech at all. Rather, it smacks of tacit approval of the message.

JunkCoast on June 20, 2007 at 11:46 AM

I’ve seen many anti-Muslim video’s on YouTube, and the only time I’ve seen Google pull those is when they use copyrighted material (as in the case with this video using music by Warnerbros without permission).

Look again. And especially look at “It’s In The Koran” which is 100% original content with no chance at all of copyright violation, and yet YT pulled it.

Pablo on June 20, 2007 at 12:00 PM

JunkCoast on June 20, 2007 at 11:46 AM

Tacit approval my a$$ it’s a point blank endorsement of those vile view points. The management at youtube are antisemitic racists and nothing less.

doriangrey on June 20, 2007 at 12:03 PM

I refuse to watch any of this A**H***S sewer tripe. Part of one was enough! Thanks for the heads up though Allah. Really trying to figure out why such hate abounds on the left and youtubes obvious bias isn’t all that hard. But I digress. Free speech banners are used almost always in the reverse these days. Where there should be there isn’t, i.e. (college campuses) and where common sense decency should prevail and stop this kind of dribble, oh well claim 1st amendment. There is no thing that is free. Someone paid for it somewhere and sometimes dearly.

mjkazee on June 20, 2007 at 12:07 PM

Mommy, why does Santa Claus hate Jews?

James on June 20, 2007 at 12:09 PM

As long as you have a rant about life/politics/religion and do not use copyrighted material, Google doesn’t even bother with the video.

Uh, what planet are you from? Videos critical of Islam are taken down all the time. Those critical of Christianity are left up.

doriangrey on June 20, 2007 at 12:03 PM

Well, point blank approval would require some kind of statement. What we get from their managemnt when it comes to posted anti-semetic messages is closer to deafening silence. Their actions imply approval, but that’s as far as they can possibly go. You know. Because they can “do no evil.”

You don’t think they’d go back on that corporate cornerstone of theirs, do you?

So Dorian, I completely disagree with you.

/but tacitly approve your message. ;)

JunkCoast on June 20, 2007 at 12:24 PM

It would be freedom of speech.

Is someone making you watch it?

Finds the creep of moonbat mentality on free speech and tolerance somewhat alarming.

Wow, do you really surf YouTube?

- Sands of Passion (Episode Six)
- Dr. Wafa Sultan
- Islam: Religion or Cult?
- Brokeback Mohammed

There are plenty of others, and if you would just “google it.”

“Freedom of speech” doesn’t entitle you to use someone else’s business as your platform. If you say something offensive here, I get to ban you notwithstanding your freedom of speech. Why? Because I have freedom of speech too, and I don’t want my enterprise being used to disseminate your ideas.

Allahpundit on June 20, 2007 at 11:37 AM

I see your point on this (as Google is not a government) but then again, do you really want Google to act as “the morality police” online?

Microsoft has done a fantastic job of this over on their “MSN Spaces,” and last I checked users were forbidden to even publish certain cuss words. (correct me if this is still the policy on this).

If you want Google to act as the “moral police,” then fine. But don’t go complaining when even the Christian gospel is censored because it is considered to be anti-gay/pro-life/anti-”one world faith.”

Darnell Clayton on June 20, 2007 at 12:29 PM

It’s interesting that the Jews consider themselves God’s chosen people, try to live in peace and have so many crazies single them out. Even if you don’t believe in God, or that the Jews had a covenant with the true God, it really points to something in the works.

Hening on June 20, 2007 at 12:38 PM

Darnell Clayton on June 20, 2007 at 12:29 PM

They already act as morality police! That’s the whole point, they pick off effective conservative clips wherever they can.

Bad Candy on June 20, 2007 at 12:48 PM

How the hell does this guy stay on? Seriously, how many times has he been flagged by us and I’m sure others? Have they even given the vermin an adult content warning like they do pr0n clips?

Bad Candy on June 20, 2007 at 12:50 PM

Up there with Robot Chicken. Yet HA clips get yanked for less.

Agenda, I smell an agenda burning.

Kini on June 20, 2007 at 1:20 PM

Darnell Clayton on June 20, 2007 at 11:32 AM

You’re kidding, right?

If that was a serious comment, you seriously need to read back through the archives at HotAir and MichelleMalkin. Your statement couldn’t be farther from the truth - conservative political commentary is yanked from YouTube with predicable, tedious regularity.

His name is Satan and he is behind all of this!
People may wonder, do I really believe a fallen angel named Satan and his hordes of demon spirits are behind all this hatred of God’s chosen people the Jews?
Well in a word, YES!
After all he is the “god of this world.”
2Cr 4:3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Cr 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

I agree 100%. Speaking to you as a conservative who used to get in loud late night debates with my former landlord’s liberal (and jewish) son, there was only one thing we strongly agreed with and that was Israel’s right to exist.

When he returned from a trip to Israel, despite that we never got along, he brought me an Israeli flag which I have displayed on the wall in every home I’ve lived at since then.

So I’m not anti-Jewish.

Yet if this guy wants to advertise his stupidity and vileness to the world, that is freedom of speech.

The antidote to that is more free speech — not less.
