Or fire means pain, consumption and/or destruction. Take your pick. That’s why ads like that are so stupid. They are open to interpretation and interpretations other than the one intended are just as valid. For all I could guess, he was making a statement about burning resources, creating heat and CO2, and global warming.

He trusted an art teacher and a technology teacher to craft insipid, valueless videos of “metaphors”, as campaign ads.

The people won’t make the same mistake.

I still think he made bets that he could make two ads that didn’t include a single lie, and him not speaking was the only way to succeed.
