Video: Syrian stooge news anchor laughs at Lebanese MP’s murder — on air

posted at 9:35 am on June 15, 2007 by Allahpundit

The station is NBN, owned and operated by Lebanese parliamentary speaker Nabih Berri, himself a proud pro-Syrian stooge. The murdered MP is anti-Syrian Walid Eido, torn apart along with his son in a car bomb on Wednesday. How far down does Assad’s eliminationist ethic reach? Watch and see.

The anchorwoman’s been duly fired, presumably for sharing business secrets. The minister she threatened, Ahmed Fatfat, intends to sue. He’d be better off spending the money on extra security, though: as Anton Efendi explains, Assad’s got another four MPs he needs to murder before he can get what he wants in parliament.

Pelosi should probably meet with him again soon to “re-initiate the dialogue” or whatever. Clearly it didn’t take the first time. Click the image to watch.

ot/ any chance for a sopranos thread with all the links related to it? I know the ending, the media isn’t following the philosophy of Chase throughout the series very well, the key is in the onion rings.

The truth about Berri and his Islamofascist Hezbollah allies revealed for all the world to see. The question should really be what is taking the true Lebanese people so long to get rid of the Iranian/Syrian cancer among them. The cancer that seems to have decided to kill off parliamentarians until they can erase the majority.

How did she get away with not wearing a hibab or a burkha?
She devil harlot, she has inspired lust in me.
She must be spanked…
But seriously, what kind of culture thinks that this is OK?
I mean besides leftists and Democrats.

Looking back, the assumption that democracy would work in Iraq (which I believed) was the biggest mistake. Just look at the Palestinians too – where’s Jimmy Carter to validate that?

I think that things like education reform and freedom of speech and press need to come before these Middle East countries can institute democratic government.

The presenter, who has not been named, then went on to name a Lebanese MP who would be assassinated next…
“Ahmed Fatfat [another anti-Syrian MP] will be next. I’m counting them off,” she went on.

DAMN!

Part of the process. The Germans had to learn the hard way what happens when you elect a brutal thug. They will as well.

Speaks volumes about Syria.
They didn’t stone the infobabe?

All roads to Damascus leads to death to Christian Lebanese politicians. Polosi should know, she’s been down that road before and probably didn’t see the trail of bodies through the Gucci headscarf she was sporting for fashion.
