To start your day off right,

From the Dean Barnett interview yesterday; a quote from Dean:
“Your reclusive genius Allahpundit”

I kind of cheered at that point. We appreciate you Allah. Thanks for all you do!

Re: Bush’s failure to solve the Palestinian problem, I guess the better alternative was the cozy relationship that the Clintons had with the Arafats. That really solved the problem once and for all. Well, except for the suicide bombers and all the murders, that is.

Krauthammer gets it:

Fences work. That’s why people have them around their houses — not because homeowners are unwelcoming, but because they insist that those who wish to come into their domain knock at the front door.

Hamas is demanding the immediate release of that British journalist. Okay irony just doesn’t suffice. No word on releasing the Israeli soldiers that were kidnapped.

Photos: Hamas goons kick back in Abbas’s captured Gaza office

Last week it was Fatah goons kicking back in Abbas’s Gaza office.

China covertly selling weapons to Insurgents via Iran.

I’ve been saying this for a few years now. Without going into to much detail… They are a Communists enemy who we have been merged with economically by giving them all of our production knowledge, assets, and consumers. We are left with an under educated and under motivated generation of mediocrity seeking Gangsta Thugs and Wannabe trust fund whores. The left is winning.

But I digress.

Don’t know if this qualifies as an open thread topic. Please don’t beat me up.
Just found out yesterday that I can’t get on my “domestic partner’s” insurance plan at the place she works, which by the way is a world wide known retail organization.
What’s so odd about that you say?
My “domestic parnter” and I are heterosexual. In order for us to qualify as “domestic partners” under their (again, a multi million dollar a year company) plan, we have to be a homosexual couple.
Sue them you say? Can’t. We don’t have deep pockets, and my partner’s paycheck is huge. More than twice what I make every week. She can’t afford to lose this job. The job I have does not provide insurance, because I’m a “temp to hire” which means, I’m pretty much a temp as long as I’m there. I work 60 hours a week, and it’s hard work.
Sorry to go on and on. I’m pretty upset. Maybe I should change my last name to Rodriquez, learn Spanish, and have someone fake me a green card or something.
Yeah, I’m pissed.

Consumer choice is a hallmark of our modern society. So why on earth do we allow our children’s education to be held hostage by an autocratic government school system forced fed by tax dollars??

VOTE SCHOOL VOUCHERS – VOTE SCHOOL CHOICE.

Whether home school, religious school, charter school, or government school, parents should have the consumer’s right of choice to determine the educational products which they will purchase for their children – without the doubled financial burden of paying for government schools and private educational choice.

In what other spending decision would a consumer tolerate such monetary coercion??
VOTE SCHOOL VOUCHERS – VOTE SCHOOL CHOICE.

After all, who could possibly be opposed to choice?

Although there are plenty of print reports of Gazan Hammas fighters executing Fatah fighters, where is the video?? Is the MSM supressing this so the world can not see what we are fighting??

Wow check out the “John Hawkins The conservative case against Ron Paul” headline…

That post must have got linked at a Ron Paul website or Prison Planet because the “TRVTH about Ron Paul” and “Ron Paul is the only True Conservative” comments are flooding in haha.

Linked from Rasmussen’s page on McCain, I found this:

Most people are pretty uninformed, I know, but this poll result surprised even me.

re: the Michael Moore headline. Slap a pair of glasses on Rosie and you have seperated at birth!

KelliD on June 15, 2007 at 1:57 PM

If you’re not sick already, just looking at the picture of fat blob Michael Moore in the “proletariat” link will make you sick. And it’s about health care?

After its marital duties are completed, “Tiro will be upgraded so that it can be used for various purposes,” Hanool official Kim Dae-Hyun told AFP.

Robots and “marital duties”–where’s the video, AP?

TexasDan on June 15, 2007 at 3:33 PM

Wow! Tony Blair the first full-fledged EU predident, pushed to become so by Mr. Sarkozy?

Entelechy on June 15, 2007 at 7:56 PM

Agreed. I have taught in public schools for 25 years and Parents Choose The School is the only hope in the long term.
